Re: Around the League News and Rumors (Non-Hawks) Part 2
The Lakers have interest in trading for Knicks guard Cam Reddish, according to Michael A Scotto of HoopsHype.
Reddish has had a rough start to his NBA career struggling to crack the rotation in Atlanta and New York. The Lakers reportedly had an interest in trading for Reddish before the trade deadline, but the deal never got completed. The Lakers could use the youth and shooting that Reddish would provide, and the Knicks wouldn't mind shedding some salary after the signing of Jalen Brunson so we will see if anything comes to fruition.

Klutch sports seems dedicated to ruining that franchise by putting as many of their clients there on terrible contracts...

Murray and the Holidays are great additions.
I would have loved to see more changes (either Capela or Collins), but I also think that waiting to see how Murray and the Holidays work with Trae and the rest of the team is a good idea.
I do not like changes in a roster between the season, but perhaps that is the only option we have if things do not roll out well.
I do not want to sound pesimistic by any means. Indeed I think Murray and the Holidays, plus Kaminsky and the new role for OO can be difference makers in out destiny.
Both Collins and OO can be really good rim protectors who provide blocks playing alongside Capela and Kaminsky. Kaminsky can be a much more important additions that it seems to be. He is 7-1 with long arms. He can just stand and wait for OO to appear to block shots. Then OO can play inside on the offensive end and Kaminsky can play outside.

Dwyane Wade on Heat Big 3: 'The hate was because of our skin color'
It was at this point where Wade decided to drop a shocking truth bomb about how the hatred for the Heat was racially motivated: “We knew that some of the hate was because of our skin color,” he claimed. “Because of being Black men and deciding to control the fate of our careers. … So, when we had the power, when we had the moment, we took it. But some of the hate came because we were three Black guys who decided and changed the way that the NBA probably would ever be because of that decision.”

What? total BS
Even if it was via trades, nobody hating BOS big three with Garnett/Pierce/Allen because of their skin color
And I never heard anything like that about MIA, it's just that they were the first to all three not being together via trades (OK it was S-&-T) but because they all took a big pay cut to form a big three

On Friday, Prince made his first appearance in Miami-Dade court and was granted a $2,500 bond. His defense lawyer, David Weinstein, said the charge was already being dismissed in Tarrant County, Texas, and stemmed from a trace amount of marijuana found during a traffic stop. Prince was unaware that police had filed the warrant for the low-level felony, Weinsten said. “If he had known warrant existed, he would have surrendered,” Weinstein told Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Mindy Glazer.

I personally don't remember anything regarding race an issue for Wade and Lebron. Wade tends to just makeup things often.D21 wrote:HMFFL wrote:Dwyane Wade on Heat Big 3: 'The hate was because of our skin color'

It's cool that Trae is in the inner circle of the top NBA players, but dude probably should be keeping a low profile and spending more time at home with Mrs. Trae and lil Trae.
Maybe he's recruiting?

Non-max rookie extension. Loaded with incentives.
What does this mean for Hunter?

Cavs now have 2 players on Designated rookie extensions, what does that mean for Mobley in 2 years.

They just have to let him enter restricted free agency and he won't be in that the rule, so they can then sign him up to 5 years at Max salary
