I get the sense that there's an irrational love for him over there similar to Ainge and Rozier. It's like "yea he doesn't play because of the depth there but boy oh boy I've seen him in practice! We'll take take 3 1sts or Anthony Davis for him."

Oh wow. So he's almost as valuable as Norm Powell was to cRaptor fans then? Disappointing.

Portland fan here. How high are you guys on Prince? And are you in a hurry to unload salary?
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

What salary? Only Bazemore and Plumlee stick out like sore gangrened thumbs on the cap sheet and to be honest, I'm always willing to hear anything beneficial that could come of them. Prince so far is a cheap developing 3 and D wing. We don't exactly predict stardom out of him but recognize the necessity of having a player of his caliber on the team particularly given the premium that guys like that go for in free agency *cough* Otto Porter *cough*.

For me, seems he's considered part of the future. Wasn't drafted by the current GM so I imagine that could change if he doesn't continue to progress.

Not sure how to answer the salary question. All the GM has said is that he values flexibility (not taking back long deals if they don't have to) which is part of the reason they refused to re-sign Millsap. However, he's also shown he's willing to rent our capspace in order to acquire an asset (FRP).

The Dwight trade was a departure from the flexibility stuff but it appears that was done to remove a lockerroom problem.

Doubt they're looking to unload Prince but I don't think that's what you're asking.

I love Prince. Obviously anybody on our roster CAN be traded...but if your bringing up Prince then there are only a couple of guys in Portland that I'm interested in ...Dame and CJ....

Yeah, that's POR's problem. The only things of value they really have are Dame n' Chuk who probably aren't (or atleast shouldn't be) available.

Our Blazer friend is probably looking to trade us Turner or Miles Linnid (#ThanksNique) for Printz. ugh

You know how I feel about CJ...and I know how u feel about him...I still think it's best for the Blazers to trade him...he does a lot of the things that lillard does and it seems like it's not working. Not sure what CJ is worth? Is he worth a Millsap? A Blake Griffin...if I'm the Pelicans ...I try to trade Cousins for CJ...I honestly think an Anthony Davis/CJ combo and a Lillard/Cousins works better for both sides...having said that, I don't ever want Cousins on our squad ...ever!

Oh, indeed. I know you've got a CJ shrine. For legal purposes, I have no idea where you got a tuft of his hair.

I think they need to trade Chuk before it's too late. Cousins wouldn't work for them now that they look to be all-in on Nurkic(sp?).

The issue with Dame and CJ was if a team could survive defensively with them. Well so far the Blazers are ranked 3rd defensively and that's thanks to Dame and CJ doing everything offensively while everyone else handles the defense. I can see the desire for Prince as the formula they've figured out is Nurkic anchoring the middle with tweeners Aminu and Harkless switching onto wings and bigs. Aminu however is injured so they've had to rotate more traditional bigs in and out of the lineup.

Actually it was something centered around Zach Collins. Part of the framework did include us taking Miles Turner and you guys taking Meyers Leonard.

Went to PTL's trade thread, didn't see any Prince trade suggestions, saw Bazemore though:

Piggybacking off of Roy The Natural, but I like the Bazemore idea....
Turner, Harkless, top 10 protected 1st
For
Bazemore and Bellineli
Is that enough? We could re-route Bellineli to another team for a 2nd rd pick to send to Atlanta as well?

There is also Baze and Belli for Len and Turner and a 1st

Not feeling any deal with PTL. Most will just have us taking a bad contract or trading players we really don't want to trade. Bazemore contract is bad but it's not that bad.

I guess the first is for eating salary...but that is still a lot of cash to take on.

How about top 3 protected for 2018 and Jared Dudley for Schroder? Better yet, if the Suns do somehow land top 3, than you get the Miami and Bucks pick for 2018 and then still get the Suns 2019 pick.

Yes. Yes.

We accept this offer. And no take backs.

We will literally drive Dennis to your front door to make this happen.

I want this so much...

Tweet your GM and I'll tweet mine.

Schroder will likely help the Suns win several more games this season so Suns would likely finish 6-9 range. Couple that with your hopefully top 3 pick and that's a good jump on your rebuild.

This one is interesting but with Dennis, this isn't a top 8 pick anymore. Can we do this trade in the offseason? I am not feeling this draft outside of 8. Once you get there, no one has the potential to be as good as Dennis is now plus we would have a terrible PG situation for the next 4-5 years, highly unlikely Atlanta would do it regardless if we would.

That last one is just unbelievable - pretty much Dennis, Minny and Houston 1sts for 2 2nds and 2 old dudes, smdh.

This one is a hell no. Not even close.

1. Welcome (back?) to the board.

Nah man, just a long time lurker. Tried to register a few years back, but was denied for whatever reason.

I would strongly trade our best talent who could be very good (John Collins) if we land the #1 pick.
