And in today's game, where you can improve even close to 30, I can absolutely see him "putting it all together", and be a total difference maker on this roster, as a 2/a, or 2/b option, and a secondary ballhandler. Gallo is obviously not as good as he once was, but will be in the closing lineups, clutch despite not being a good playoff-performer (he is great for a last shot if Trae is doubled, so is Bogi btw), and although the Italian is clearly a slow defender at this point, he has high IQ. I think he is going to be a good mentor too, for the younger guys. Overall I like that signing too, although obviously I am more excited about Bogi too, as I imagine you guys are too.
I remember him his rookie year at Sac and thinking he would be a nice addition but never gave it much thought since he was restricted. He was a killer in Europe and has very good length for his size. The guy comes with an edge for sure.
He's going to do really well here. Unfortunately Huerter may be the odd man out if he doesn't make a jump. Hawks may eventually have to acquire a 3 and D center and Huerter + Capela would be needed to acquire one... Bogs might be the best fit we can get next to Trae we could honestly hope for you know w/o gutting the team.
When he's on he's very tough to stop. Holiday is a stud defender but he couldn't do anything with the craftiness and size Bogs has.
