I co-sign that trade. Horford comes back and Nash get's his title.

Nash/Teague
Johnson/Green
Marvin/T-Mac/Vlad
Horford/Ivan
Gortat/Zaza

I like that team.

No need for Phoenix to add anything but I doubt Phoenix would even do that trade.

The Suns are saying that they'll listen to offers for Steve Nash, so these Nash trades we're talking about have a chance at happening

why would the suns have to add a first ? the hawks would be getting a true center , and 1 of the best puint guards ever . smith has talent but i have seen enough of his turnovers , bad jumpshot , and incosistency to last a lifetime . i think atlanta would probably have to add a 1st round pick for this trade to happen .

They say they will listen if Nash want's to be moved but he want say he wants out. I guess he is trying to be the anti-modern athlete. I hate people that try to make a big moral stance of nothing. Nash has wasted away years of his career in Phoenix. To me it seems as if winning is not his only concern, which is a bad thing. We aren't getting Nash.

Yea the first round pick would be too much, I guess I just overvalued Josh

Granger for Josh Smith has always been a trade that intrigues me.

I could get behind that but I'd be thrilled at Josh Smith for Roy Hibbert, we'd finally get the true center we've been looking for, I doubt Indi does it tho; maybe if we throw in a second round pick or 2.

Consider...Indy has ONE good center....has TWO good PF's and Two good SF's. Hibbert won't be moving.
CENSORED... No comment.

Without a doubt the best trade we could currently make is:

Hornets get: Marvin and Zaza and 2nd rd pick

Lakers get: Kirk

Hawks get: Okafor (C), Ebanks(SF), Darius Morris (PG) and Lakers trade exception.

Okafor and Ebanks more than make up for letting Marvin and Zaza go.

All for this trade:

Memet Okur and Brook Lopez to Hawks

Josh Smith to Nets

Josh Smith to Sactown for Garcia and there lotto pick this year. I think if you can get a lotto pick from any team for Josh you do it now.

I think you have to sell him to a team that thought they'd be playoff bound but is sinking fast in the standings. Sell them on both his talent and the fact he only has just over a year left on his deal in case it doesn't work out.

Detroit would be perfect for this, take back their 2012 1st along with any or combination of their bad contracts such as a combo of Stuckey and Maxiell plus 1st, Gordon plus 1st, Villanueva and Daye plus the 1st.

Either way, to get a lotto pick Josh has to be moved to a team that is not in full rebuild or a rebuilding team still looking to jettison some old contracts.

I'm all for trading Josh to get a lotto pick no matter how it has to go down.

What do you guys think of this trade:

Toronto gets: Marvin, Zaza, 2012-13 1st (not this year but next) and 2014-15 1st

Hawks get: Bargnani and Kleiza

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=3wmhv7j

Teague
Joe
Josh
Bargnani- Our Dirk
Al

I know it looks kinda soft but it would actually add size, shooting, and he gets to the line.

I don't think we'd give 2 first round picks for Bargnani. He's had a nice career scoring but he's living outside the arc and is a bad rebounder, he's basically Josh only with more range, less rebounding, and worse defense.

I understand where you are coming from but he is actually a good shooter and has averaged over 20 his last couple of years. He is not Josh because he really should be shooting jumpers because he is good at it.

Sadly the Kings owe a 1st to Cleveland so they can't deal their lottery pick this year. Other than that I was keen to getting Thompson or Hickson out of them plus the pick instead of Garcia.

I have to mention this trade atleast once a year.

Josh and Marvin to the Warriors

Monta and Biedrins to the Hawks

This trade would effectively make Joe the second scoring option which is much needed.

Monta-Score the ball
Joe- Defense and second option scoring
Vlad-Shoot open 3's
Al-Rebound, Pick and Roll and Pop
Biedrins-Rebound, protect rim, finish

Saw this trade on the T&T board:
Marvin for Derozen, and Amir Johnson/Linas Kleiza
I say yes, I really like Demar Derozen, young player and would be solid in the back court with Joe, but I'm sure Toronto riots at this trade

raptors never agreed give barg and derozan for trash

i think best trade for hawks;

magic:josh smith+k.hinrich+milicic
hawks:r.anderson+BB Davis+beasley+duhon
min:j-rich+picks from magic and hawks

this makes hawks more balanced team and if howard would stay at least 1 more year in orlando they would do that trade and they will have huge cap space in 2013
