LOST's initial season is some of the best TV of the last 20 years, but it gets pretty muddled in its own mythology after that. A result of too many episodes and too much filler.

CHEERS is a show that has aged extremely well. It's a throwback to classic TV from the 70s. Not a lot of sitcoms from the 80s are still satisfying to watch today.

Cheers and Golden Girls are a couple of timeless treasures from that era.

Haha your right about Lost. As much as I loved it, I was also a bit confused at times and a lot at the end.

Cheers is just classic. I'm a huge fan of Woody Harrelson..loved a bunch of his movies with white men cant jump leading the way. Ted Danson was pretty fun as well and I preferred Rebecca>Diane.

Golden Girls was a classic although I'm pretty sure Blanche was on heroin...-22Jumpstreet

Uhm, your gal is calling you 'Raw Eddie'? I bet her ex is named Eduardo.

LOST got lost after season 1 but I stayed with it til the end. Seems they just wanted to be confusing until the end.

Lastly, does anyone know anyone named 'Blanche' who's under the age of 87? Kind of a dead name. Like Otis or Edna.

I catch it randomly late night at times.
I never dedicate all of my attention to it but it's very entertaining.

I started watching for the laughs and the cool sci-fi, what took it to the next level for me was some of the character development which you wouldn't expect to be so deep in a cartoon, especially Morty's character development.

In fairness, I asked for Blanche's under the age of 87. Still, find me an Otis in his 20's. It's a dead name.

When talking TV shows:

GOT is incredible and I wish that I could erase it completely from my memory so that I can binge watch it again.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the funniest show ever to me, but it's a lot of crude humor and you have to be into that to really appreciate it.

A show I always recommend to people is Dexter (it's on Netflix). The premise is fresh (serial killer who only kills criminals to keep himself in check). The greatest first season of a show I've ever seen, that show lasts 8 seasons but had they shut it down right after the end of season 4 it would have gone down as a top 5 show of all time for me (late seasons aren't very good).

The show that means more to me than any other is The Simpsons. I grew up watching it, seasons 4-11 is peak television of all time, seasons 12-17 are very watchable but not as good, and then it went downhill. I can talk old Simpsons all day long.

Blanche Harlan actually sounds like a legit star.

Dexter seasons 1 and 2 are incredible. Just plain great. Last few seasons are just like, "yeah ok, clearly you're just filling a time slot, Showtime".

Per legal settlement we are not allowed to mention Lu.... er, former employees. Please refer any further inquiry through Consuela at M&C LLC.

Waitaminute, I’m not going to let you guys Weinstein me with these false allegations! Damn, this would be a bad time to make a Pickle Rick reference.

My Faves:
GoT
The Wire
Shawshank Redemption (I've seen it too many times to count)
The Big Bang Theory
NCIS (watched from the very 1st season).
The Blacklist

Oldies:
Cosby
Good Times
Sandford and Son
Jeffersons
Seinfeld
Golden girls
Everybody Loves Raymond

Perry Mason(my dad, God rest his soul) was a fan - so with only one TV in the house saw a lot of it - we would try to guess 'who dun it?'

I do several oldies of mini marathons than the new stuff that folks rave about... so many networks with original shows.

One thing that's crazy is shows will come on with no reruns in between, but it's only an 8 or 10 episode season. It sucks especially if you're trying to let it grow on you.

I let adult swim put me to sleep so I don't have to pay attention to a game or drama, unless I get a second wind.
