No cap though, I'd always envisioned you looking like Carlton irl.

Lol Omari looks fat AF!!! I like him as a player though, hope he balls in Summer League. He's a fun guy in the locker room that has showed nice potential.

Glad he's going with 22 and not 2. Still holding out hope that we'll retire number 2 in honor of Joe Johnson.

Cam Reddish is looking forward to playing for the Atlanta Hawks after he was hampered by a groin injury during his one season with Duke.
Reddish was one of college basketball’s top prospects heading into last season. But his stock slipped a bit after he averaged 13.5 points on 35.6 percent shooting with the Blue Devils, filling a supporting role behind fellow freshmen stars Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett.
Hawks general manager Travis Schlenk said he felt Reddish fit what they are trying to do after watching him for years.
“We’ve had the opportunity to see him many times playing for USA Basketball, playing on the AAU circuit and then playing at Duke last year,” Schlenk said. “So, he’s a guy that we’ve seen for several years. We’re looking for guys that are multidimensional, multi-positional.”
Coach Lloyd Pierce envisions Reddish taking pressure off Young as a ballhandler. On the other end of the court, Pierce is looking forward to incorporating Reddish’s 7-1 wingspan into a defense that last season was one of the NBA’s least efficient.
“I think defensively is where you get excited ... The more playmakers and facilitators you can put on the floor, the better your team is, and we saw the amount of attention Trae will get,” Pierce said. “We saw it late in the year, and we’ll see it more next year.”

I'm not a fan of Cam, but maybe the problems was the PG? Hopefully Trae's talent can unlock Cam's potential. Tre Jones was the worst PG in the ACC last year, maybe his inability to set up the offense was the reason for Cam's struggles?

Cam will have more control of his game at the NBA level, and yes, Trae will find him. Cam will be utilized properly.atlantabbq99 wrote:I'm not a fan of Cam, but maybe the problems was the PG? It had much more to do with the poor fit than Tre. Tre got screwed too. We sold out to win games and showcase R.J. and Zion.

I know I am biased (Very Biased!) but I honestly think that Reddish will end up being the 2nd best player (Only behind Williamson!) from the 2019 Draft!

Tre's inability to shoot 3s and penetrate really hurt Cam and RJ's game alot. At the start of the season Cam was hitting a good amount of threes, but when teams figured out they could sag off of Tre, it really closed the door on Cam's outside shooting.
Tre's below average ability to dribble drive caused RJ to not only force up alot of shots, but also made him the primary ball handler toward the end of the season.
On offense, Duke was basically playing 4 on 5, with the opponents perimeter guy allowed to double whenever they wanted too, with no fear of Tre.'
With that said, Cam's and RJ's superior talent should have over come this, like what Lebron and Wade did with Chalmers, but the season is over and it is what it is.
Cam has a shot at showing improvements with Trae creating for him and protecting him with his jump shot, but I have a feeling that RJ will struggle because Dennis Smith is a horrible backcourt partner for RJ and Dennis Smith is kind of like the NBA version of Tre Jones.
