That YTuber has a boatload of tape and edits it fairly well. I've never watched anything past 30 mins, much less hours of stuff. Saw some stuff on Beringer as well. I'll probably take a peek at the guys Hawks have a keen interest in going forward.

Ton of overlap between Noa and Zacch...but I'm onboard with grabbing Noa at #13.

Call them, 'The French Connection'.

Might be better to wait on the measurables for him. Production is great, but he seems more of an energy guy than skill player, and Risacher already far better from a skill perspective. If he's got length to be more a rim protector, then there's a way to slide him in a lineup off the bench. If the length is average, then he's probably one of those guys that's "2 years away from being 2 years away".

He's going to need more mass; shooting, though it looks promising, still needs developing; tends to be more awkward as a playmaker, than a guy who is fluid; not the tightest dribble either. I mean he's going to be slightly younger than Flagg, but we need help on the frontlines now. Could he have a Giannis like rise? Sure, but that comes with huge bust potential, and in a deep draft, he'll need to hit the ground running as well.

I'm not writing him off, but is the risk vs reward worth taking a shot on him in hopes that he indeed becomes a Giannis level player?

Of course it is. Hawks need to keep taking high upside swings regardless who's on the roster. It's like let's pass on JJ for a win now Grimes at that time. Hawks are royally screwed if they were that short sighted.

Drafting high floor players really hasn't worked well for the Hawks. Collins and Huerter were not bust by any stretch, but they ultimately flamed out during their tenure.

It's not so much of being shortsighted. Has more to do with limited resources at the moment on top of Essengue taking 4 or 5 years to really develop into something special. Like I mentioned, he's probably 2 years away from being 2 years away. Kid is super raw right now, today.

When we took JJ, we were in a position where we had the resources to still improve while we waited for JJ to develop. Mind you, JJ wasn't far off as a prospect. He slid due to character concerns. Essengue has a skills issue.

To the main point of taking NE, the machine has already created a buzz so his stock will go higher than 13 I'd bet. France is producing freakish players. Long/tall and mobile with a decent amount of skill to go with it.

Nobody is going to want and miss that wave with those prospects. NE should eventually guard 1-4 quite seamlessly and be a good deterrent for 5s on the weakside. I can see a 9-2 stand reach and 9-4 wingspan. Those are Capela numbers as a combo forward.

The hype has indeed hit a fever pitch.

I'm seeing mock drafts with him as a consistent top-10 selection!!!

Noa is no longer an option for us unless we trade up.
He looks like a future star.

Yep, his profile keeps changing. Less than 6 months ago, he was 6-9 and now they are saying 6-11. In that clip he looks like a current version of KD w/o the insane shot creation. He's the same caliber of prospect to Johnson, Edgecombe, Knuppel.

Hawks can never have nice things :(

He has tremendous hands, hand grip, and feel for the game. Not the most skilled yet and his wingspan is limited but you see shades of Ben Simmons in his game.

It feels like this kid has cemented a spot for himself in the top-10 with his performances the past 2 weeks.

My guy Nao won't be attainable and I'm disappointed about it. We won't bother trading up from 13th. Ugh!
