Love this!

Trae always makes time for summer league. He must be extra excited right now.

This is a really good listen -- an analytical breakdown of Trae's strengths and weaknesses.

Spoiler Alert: Trae is an absolute disaster in isolation.

This explains a big part of why Trae is so abysmal in isolation...the defenders are massively bigger than ever before.

It's been common sense.

I have said his lack of size is an issue for years.
We have a point guard that can't even dunk and he is probably going to receive $60m per season. It sucks , but everything is more difficult for Trae, except for his vision to create for others.

He has no business being our #1 shooting option now. It's time to win!

Trae needs to be on that SGA/DeRozan mid range shot diet.

He's pretty consistent 12-18 feet.

Sub par off the dribble from deep.

The horse has already been beating to death about this. Year 8 and what should be common sense for Trae doesn't seem to be ao common. He shot a career 2pt % low last season. The mid range should his focus since he's not able to dunk for the easy points. Let's hope this season is different he he focuses on his mid range game.

Several times he gets to the midrange and can take the shot but picks up his dribble or just part....might be Quin with the 'shots at basket or 3s. Sometimes he's hesitating trying to balance his affinity to scoring vs sharing the ball.

^BINGO.

I've observed that too. TY actually turns down wide open mid rangers these days.

Presumably at the behest of the coaching staff (and the rest of the league) emphasizing higher efficiency shots.

I'd much rather Trae take open shot attempts from a region of the floor he can regularly hit from - 18 feet and in.

I want to see Trae, NAW, and Dyson on the court together.
