I are confused. Wuz told the Seeees invented the game of basketball last month.

Also cute how, despite having the 2 greatest talents to ever enter the league (rolls eyes), PHI is still an under .500 squad.

No the Celtics didn't invent basketball...they are just the best thing since sliced bread ...

Danny Ainge had a tweet praising Rozier, Kyrie and Horford...then said Celtic strong..oh I can't wait till these douches get knocked out of the playoffs...and when that happens make sure you watch it on BSPN as they will have the excuses ready..

I said the Sees peaked too earlu during their win streak. You want to play your best ball heading into the playoffs.
Their defense and rebounding has also come back to flat earth.

Skrong. Good thing you didn't lose your sense of humor when you lost your lunch(es) in that twitter vid. Great seats, btw. Haha

Agree though. Seees were playing at conference finals level while everyone else was still cleaning the crust outta their eyes. Now that folks are fully ... wait for it ... woke, seems they're not quite world-beaters.

Nikola Mirotic has led the Bulls to a 6-0 record since coming back. Also, the Kings won again last night, and the Grizzlies are still trying to compete now. Our biggest competition for that top pick is currently Dallas.

The Lakers just ended the Rockets 14 game win streak.
The young team looked very good tonight.

Kelly Olynyk dropped 32 points and stole a close victory over his former Celtics team.

Kris Dunn and the Bulls continue to overachieve.

Toronto silently is one of the opt 4 teams in the East yet again.

Dude lost 30+ pounds over the summer. He is leaner, quicker than he was here.

^^The year before Mike's Molly year here, he was svelt and lean and had a pretty good year, his team defense had been so improved, he was running the floor dunking on people and hitting the 3.
Then his Molly year he was injured and out of shape to start the season (I remember commenting at the other place that he was running with a limp at the free open practice I went to ). He wasn't the same and he barely played his last year.
Glad he's having a bounce back after 2 miserable years.

I honestly see Toronto as a carbon copy of the treadmill Hawks teams we've seen over the past 10 years. They're good enough to dazzle in the regular season, they had their one year push to the ECF where Lebron disposed of them, and they ultimately look like 2nd round fodder with their current roster.

The argument I've heard from Raptors fans is that they clear an insane amount of salary in 2020 when Ibaka, Lowry and Derozen (player option) simultaneously expire. But even then, they're expecting to be major players in free agency with a team that doesn't have a history of signing big time FAs. Couple that with the fact that they just traded their first rounder this year to get rid of Carroll and they seem destined to ride the treadmill or a few more years before going with a tank, or signing middle tier FAs to keep the treadmill going. It's not an envious position to be in.

Their comments re. "We cain't beat Lebron", last year let me know they'll never win anything in TOR with that core.

And I don't think they need to blow it all up and start from scratch.

But they need to leverage some of those assets into another top young player to expand their window beyond LeBron and GSW's.

(Melo, Wade, Brook Lopez, CP3, DeMarcus, Kevin Love, Kyrie--so many All Star players have been moved in trade the last few years. TOR has to snatch up one of those players and stop overpaying the Serge Ibakas and Kyle Lowrys of the world.)

Celtics continue to struggle. And Kyrie is falling back into some old bad habits:

It would be so satisfying seeing the Celtics get knocked out in the 2nd round or sooner. I don't think any team was luckier than they were in last year's playoffs with Rondo's injury, it took them from probably getting swept in the first round to making the ECF smh
