I talked to Grey on the Spurs board. She gave me some news that Sarr's camp was having issues with Wemby's camp. Sarr supposedly took exception to Wemby saying Risacher was the best French prospect in the draft & it looks like Sarr's camp doesn't want him competing for minutes.
The news floating has me excited though.
Amico says Spurs are very interested in Garland.
Givony says Hawks/Quinn like Clingan, open to trading down to net more value
You saying spurs talking of drafting Clingan at 4
Cavs having possible interest in swapping BI for Garland pending on what they do with Mitchell.
Risacher would look good in a Spurs jersey. I believe they can have him for the right price.
I think they like Carter & Knecht.
I like Sarr, Sheppard, Carter, Ware for NO's
Green doesn't want to defend drop coverage so I don't see NO's being in on Clingan after letting Jonas walk being 15/10 in 25 mins at 15m. They want to switch defend, which is why my primary target is Sarr.
Between Sarr 1-5, Daniels 1-4, Herb 1-3. The defense would have potential to be elite.
Problem is the zones teams throw at Zion. Herb has become a reliable 40% threat on decent volume but I'm banking on Daniels 20, Sarr 19 taking their 30% low usage to respectability. To be effective with Zion on both ends. Problem is if Zion willing to wait on development, he is after all only 23 or 24, despite being in the league 5yrs.
