Who would be in that trade?

Ball, Wagner, Hart, Kuzma, #4 and future 1sts for AD.
Bulls trade top 10 protected pick in 2020 and #7 for #5
Hawks trade #8 for #6 and Tyler Johnson contract.

BR has us flat out taking Cam at 8. Romeo at 10 with Hayes still on the board. I’d go Cam and Hayes in that scenario.

That's a dream scenario honestly.

Rui should get a look. I think he's all Wizards if Sekou is gone.

I mean he has the physical part down, and showed some flashes, although not as much as you would like to see. He has things that are very fixable in his game to make you wonder "what if?".

Depending on how he looks in private workout, I'd strongly consider nabbing Nas at 10.

I'm conflicted about Jaxson, but there is indeed potential there.

I would too. Nas Little is not my ideal choice but he has the potential to be a two way stud and Atlanta plays fast and we don't need him to play much as a rookie since we have Prince, Bazemore and Bembry. He will have time to grow. We can take a high upside risk due to what we currently have.

Nas is the top player to avoid for us imo. I don’t like much about him. His natural basketball skill level and IQ seem low to me. I’d easily go Clarke over Nas.

I would too. Nas is not that high on my list while Clarke is. Why not get a much better player who has similar potential. I still have Nas in the late teens on my mock and on my board, he is around that range while I have Clarke in my 3.5 tier with Cam, White, garland, and Bol

So if a point man like a Garland or Coby type fall to us at 8 and Cam isn’t there, do we take him to keep him? BPA after all right?

You trade down. Simple as that or take Hayes.

Hayes needs to be one of our top targets. Why?
Great athlete
Translatable shooting touch
Fits our system and has a high ceiling.

That said, I doubt Garland or White fall to us.

Where we are, we need to be ziplock with what we are planning on doing. We need to treat this like it's a pick in the teens.

Agree with smokescreens from Travis. But what do you mean treat it like it’s a pick in the teens? Like go safe with it?

Well Travis seems to covet chemistry. These two played with each other in a good system at Gonzaga. Might not be totally out of the question.

Only downfall is both seem to be prototype 4’s imo. Add that to Collins being a natural 4 and we have a log jam.

I have a foolish confidence that Rui can develop into a 3. It would take a lot of patience but if successful that is a delicious lineup. Whoever walks away with Rui is very fortunate if you ask me.

You go with BPA for you long term. The fit has to be there.

So if Coby lands to us at 8, you wouldn’t pair him with Trae in the backcourt and move the 6’7” Huerter to the 3? You would trade out or draft Hayes?

I’m just thinking about position less basketball.

Pg- Trae 6’2”
Sg- Coby 6’5”
Sf- Huerter 6’7”

Too small? Looks ok and a little lethal offensively to me. I guess defense would be an issue.
