Re: Stephen Jackson wants out

I prefer to not have Bogut, but I am getting very tired of Joe Johnson, and not because of his contract. I prefer a leader that shows emotion. I think it's time for our management to explore every option to move him.

I know what you mean - and I agree. Terrible thought, however: what if our management has already explored every option to move him? What if those on the Trade board who say that they wouldn't take him in any deal are representative of their organizations' thinking?

If we could turn Joe into a good Center (and Bogut is a very good defensive Center), we should jump.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Bucks are more likely to give up Gooden and SJax if they are taking back Joe than Bogut. Worth the shot, Jackson is actually a guy you've heard Dwight talk about wanting to play with.

S. Jackson is one the biggest cancers in the NBA. The league will be better once he's gone. I want nothing to do with him.

Someone tell JR Smith to go back to China my goodness we're fucced. NY has passed us up just with 3 starters they could beat us.
For those curious. Looking at draftexpress

Lin- 6'4
Smith- 6'7
Jeffries- 6'10
Novak - 6'10
Chandler - 7'1

I think Hawks have the smallest lineups in the Eastern Conference. Jared Jeffries is still playing SF and Josh is stuck in this crap,

SHAQ CONFIRMS THAT HE WILL WRESTLE AT MANIA
By Dave Scherer on 2012-02-20 17:24:32 NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal told HollywoodLife.com that he would be wrestling at WrestleMania on April 1. He did not say he would be wrestling The Big Show, but that is the plan.

Can Shaq live up to Snooki?

Bad for Big Show if he being pushed down to fight Shaq. Especially since Big Show constantly loses at Wrestlemania. They have him lose against Shaq then it really be embarrassing.

Being in the celebrity match means $$$$ for Big Show, doubt he cares if he loses when that check arrives.

Odds on The Big Show wearing a Superman cape?

I'm more interested in what the guys at TNT will do with this rather than the actual match....Shaq's one hell of an entertainer, maybe even the NBA GOAT for that stuff :P

If anyone watched when he did his guest host stint on Raw a few years back he was actually quite entertaining, and he is big enough to look like a credible threat to Big Show. Could be fun.

Greg Oden has microfracture surgery

Post#359 » by Slats » Tue Feb 21, 2012 1:30 am

Shocking news for Oden and Portland. Chances of him getting back to the NBA seem to get slimmer and slimmer all the time.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/75952 ... rofracture

There appears to be no end in sight for Greg Oden and his troublesome knees.

The Portland Trail Blazers said Monday that a procedure to clear debris out of Oden's left knee resulted in another microfracture surgery. Oden had the surgery in Vail, Colo. Although it was originally expected to be an arthroscopic procedure to clean out the 7-footer's knee, the surgeon determined there was additional damage.

It sounds like the Warriors need to contact us since our team is falling apart.

Warriors Hope To Make Trade Before Deadline

"We're working day and night and we're hopeful," Riley told NBA.com on Monday night. "But what will not happen is, we won't do something that sets us back just to do a deal. We want to find the right deal, and if we get one of those we'll do it. I don't know what the odds of it are right now." http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... e_Deadline
