Cavs get: Hinrich, Williams and 2012 1st rd pick

Any Thoughts?

The Hawks aren't gonna give away their 2012 first just to Dump Marvin, Cavs fans especially need to realize that

what if we swapped out your first for our second, which would be a high second?

I still don't see Atlanta giving up a first to dump Marvin's contract. Even though they are getting a 2nd, the difference between the two picks is 19 spots.

It is worth the pick. I would also do:

Nash- Dudley for Hinrich- Marvin and 1st

Nash - Teague- Pargo
JJ- TMac- Green
Dudley- Stackhouse- Radman
Smoothe- Ivan- Radman
Zaza- Dampier- Collins

This would ensure money to resign Teague and maybe sign a free-agent at 2.5/3M. Haywood if dumped by Dallas?

Other idea:

ATL/ NJ
Williams + Atl 2nd for Morrow + Williams (exp)

ATL/ MIN
Hinrich + PHO 2nd for Beasley + Lee (released) Hinrich give the Wolves size and D at guard. Mentor for Rubio?

JT- Pargo- TMac
JJ- Morrow- Green
Beasley- Stack-S. Williams
Smoothe- Ivan- Radman
Zaza- Dampier- (Twin)

Six To Eight Teams In Contact With Magic On Trade For Howard
Otis Smith said there are "six to eight" teams interested in acquiring Dwight Howard.

"I'd say everybody in the league has called us. …but this late, it's six to eight," Smith said.

Magic CEO Alex Martins remains hopeful that the Magic can retain Howard.

The Nets, Mavericks and Lakers are on Howard's list of preferred destinations.

In order to convice Howard, we should show to him that we are willing to spend a little bit more (and more inteligently, also, as not everything is covering JJ with gold).

As of this moment, if the Bobcats release Diaw, I believe we should sign him, as the cost is more or less zero, and he gives us a wide body who can defined the 5 spot, pass, be intelligent, and already knows the city, which assures a quick adaptability.

I don't think even Jordan is that stupid to release Diaw. Especially when the biggest problem the coach is having with him is that he doesn't shoot enough.

Hawks get:

Chuck Hayes
Travis Outlaw
Donte Greene
Hassan Whiteside

Kings get:

Marvin Williams
Kirk Hinrich

Added more depth.

What u essentially get is 3 for 1 for Marvin and u get under the luxury this year and only add $1 million next year for 2 extra players. This is the type of smart move a smart GM would make.

I stand corrected on the Diaw thing.

As for the trade above. it would be a great trade for us and I would do it in a second. I am not sure Sacramento would though.

Does anyone find it silly that so many people here complain about a guy averaging 17 points, 10 rebounds, 3.5 assist, 2 blocks and 1.5 steals a game.

Morrow, lopez, petro, and rockets pick for josh smith? Then we sign Dwight

Would seem to be our best bet because it's a mutually exclusive trade for all sides. NJ would like it because it practically secures Dwight, Josh would like it too because of that, Hawks get a C out of it.

If only we could have Joe pull a 2006 again where he sits "because of injury", let Brook rest and heal his injury, Al's already out and trot out and show case the **** out of Marv/Zaza/Teague. Would be a great tanking plan if the East wasn't so **** terrible.

A Gasol to Atlanta deal, what would that look like between our teams?

Who do you want in return?

Pau Gasol:
$19,000,000 (12/13)
$19,285,850

If you want Josh Smith; I believe our management offers Josh Smith and Marvin Williams.

It doesn't help the Lakers with their luxury tax concerns but it's tempting. I'm thinking of

PG- Sessions
SG- Bryant
SF- Williams
PF- Smith
C- Bynum

As the big target with enticing Howard to extend his contract as the second target.

I doubt your Lakers are concerned about the luxury tax after considering the big tv contract they received. What matters the most is putting the best team on the court that can win multiple championships.
