Hypothetical scenario: what if Cam Reddish went back to Duke for his sophomore season and decided to put his name into the 2020 draft? Where would he be selected in this draft?

anywhere from top 5 to mid 2nd rounder depending on how he played this year at Duke. In other words, completely impossible to answer.

Texas A&M shut Anthony Edwards down yesterday. Held him to 6pts, 4rebs, 3ast.

at this point I've seen enough of Edwards. He's #1 for me, not even debatable. Don't care if he has some bad games. I've seen enough of the last few years to know that it's easier to be a star in the NBA than in college. Much more room to operate and better teammates will make his life a lot easier at the next level. Similar to Trae...although he didn't have the stinkers that Edwards has had his one year in college.

I am strongly leaning to one of the PGs.
I like Hayes, Haliburton, Ball, and Maladon the most.
I still like Cole Anthony.
I am not sure Nico Mannion fits our system, you really gotta action in our system

He's still my #1 guy in this class in general due to his offensive ceiling as a SG but I am not head over heels for him and I don't like him at all for us unless he wants to play the long term Harden-OKC role. I am not sure it's a fit.

This draft outside of the PGs just isn't good. Okoro is Torrey Craig for now with less shooting

Okongwu has a high floor but his ceiling isn't that high. Better offensive and mobile version of Emeka Okafor without the elite rebounding.

Toppin was my guy but his defense is not it. He's better offensively than he gets credit for. I really agree with the Amare Stoudemire comparisons. I actually agree with that more than John Collins comparisons.

The only good players in this class are the PGs, Toppin, and Okongwu. That's it!

The guys with the higher end potential is Ball and Edwards.

I would avoid both players if I am the Hawks.

I would avoid Wiseman altogether.

We really need to trade this pick. This draft is so bad. None of these guys really fit or deserve to be a top pick.

Come on down, Beal. WAS knows they needs to rebuild.

Deni Avdija has turned a corner with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

He's emerged as one of the team's top options in the Israeli BSL over the past five weeks, scoring at least 16 points in four of six games since Jan. 11. He made four of his five threes last Tuesday after going 3-of-6 in a Euroleague win over Fenerbahce Ulker.

For a 6'8" combo forward, his fluidity, skill versatility and defensive IQ continue to pop. He's flashed the ability to create and pass, as well as work off the ball as a spot-up shooter and cutter. And despite turning 19 years old in January, he's made an impact with his defensive anticipation and competitiveness.

Avdija might not have the same perceived upside as super-athlete and scorer Anthony Edwards, but scouts view him as one of the draft's safest picks and a fit for any lottery lineup.

3. Atlanta Hawks: Deni Avdija, G, Maccabi Tel Aviv

With their recent trade for Clint Capela, Atlanta has a budding "Big 3," with Capela, John Collins and Trae Young forming the foundation upon which the Hawks will build their franchise. And despite promising guard/wings such as Kevin Huerter and Cam Reddish on the roster, Avdija (who's draft stock has skyrocketed this winter) would be a terrific fit alongside Young in the Hawks backcourt.

Wash already has dibs on a top 5 pick, I don't think they want another one in this fuggly draft. It's gonna take this pick, a relatively light pro future 1st and Huerter or something.

On a side note, 358 projects the hawks to finish with 23 or 25 wins. Should be looking at a top 4 pick. No point of debating these guys until the lotto drawing. All I can do is watch MM for some sleepers if there's a trade back.

Watching more of Edwards, think he will be stud. Will be more efficient (not day 1) in the nba than college imo... especially in the right situation. He would fit perfect in atl imo... only like him & Wiseman of the guys at the top for the hawks. I’d lean Edwards now. Okoro or Ball would be awful.

In his first interview since leaving school to turn professional, Wiseman told ESPN that he cried every night in his dormitory room during the turbulent episode with the NCAA, ultimately leaving school amid a 12-game suspension for rules violations that Wiseman insists he hadn’t been aware occurred. “I was really in the middle of a hurricane,” Wiseman told ESPN in an interview that aired Friday. “That’s like the worst place you could possibly be. Just having the mental agony and the suffering, crying every night because I just wanted to get on the court so much.”
