Redd has a beautiful stroke, but so did Duck. Redd just doesn't seem to want to jump and will only develop bad habits from that.

Please don’t make a lazy comparison of Marv and Cam. That’s not accurate. Cam is 10 times the player Marv was, is or will ever be.

At Westtown High School, Cam Reddish played point guard and was the team’s primary creator with the ball in his hands. Once he stepped foot in Durham however, he had to defer touches to teammates Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett. Not only did the decrease in shots affect his points per game numbers, but he was also put into an off-ball role that he had never been in before. Combine that with the excessive amounts of zone defense that the Blue Devils’ opponents played this year, and the former No. 2 player in his recruiting class never got the chance to create magic off the dribble, and often settled for awkward shots in the soft spots of a 2-3 zone.
Once Reddish gets to the NBA, he’ll find himself with the ball in his hands much more often than at Duke, and with more shooters around him to space the floor, there will be much more room to operate. Not to mention, the NBA’s defensive three second rule makes it nearly impossible to play zone defense.

Nobody in this year's draft inspires stronger takes than Reddish, who had a disappointing freshman campaign as the third option on a Blue Devils team featuring three surefire lottery picks. Despite the talent around him, Reddish's true shooting percentage (.499) was [subpar] as he made worse than 40 percent of his 2-point attempts and barely 33 percent from 3-point range.
Ultimately, Reddish's NBA potential might hinge on his ability to consistently make 3-pointers. That hasn't happened at any level of competition. However, Reddish's accuracy at the free throw line (77 percent as a freshman) suggests untapped potential as a shooter. I've found that free throw shooting in college is slightly more predictive of NBA 3-point accuracy than 3-point percentage in college.

Alexander-Walker is a big guard known for his offensive skillset. He can handle the ball, pass and score in a variety of ways. He can play both point guard and shooting guard and affect games with his passing at either spot. He was an excellent three-point shooter in college. As a freshman, he shot 39.2 percent from long range on 4.5 attempts per game. His percentage dipped as a sophomore to 37.4 percent, but that was still impressive given he attempted 4.6 shots per game.
Though he has great size and length for a guard, Alexander-Walker is not considered a premier athlete for the position. He does not have elite quickness or the ability to play consistently above the rim. Because of that, some wonder how high his ceiling will be in the NBA. He may, however, have a high floor given his well-rounded game and basketball IQ.

But with the Bulls falling to 7th in the lottery, Reddish might be the best player available. He measured 6’8” with shoes at the combine, which means the Bulls could potentially use him at 3 positions, including power forward when they play Lauri Markkanen at center in small ball line-ups. Reddish has all the physical traits to be an excellent NBA player, and since the top 3 point guards will probably be off the board when the Bulls pick at 7, they can’t be worried about trying to fill a positional need. Reddish could wind up climbing during individual team workouts, so there’s a chance Cleveland could take him at 5, but if he’s still available at 7 that would be my pick.

So many red flags with him, it's scary. If you rank the mental aspect of these prospects, he has to be among the weakest. All these people saying he has to land at right spot to thrive kinda let's you know the deal.
I don't hate or love the dude. As is with Varys, I just want what's best for the realm.
