WTF is going on here. Do we not remember Fultz was basically unplayable this year?

I hear that's Kyme's way of screwing with the media, btw. Like a bad joke he's taking too far and no one's laughing, not even him.

1. These are valid concerns.

2. The opportunity to draft in top 10 this year, get last year's #1 pick and potentially have 3 first rounders next year is, IMO, worth considering.

NOTE: Markelle was unplayable last year. But if he could be looking at a potential Ben Simmons-like rebound from injured 1st year to All Star caliber 2nd year...I'd strongly consider that.

Especially with the ties he has with Coach Pierce.

I want as many bites at the superstar apple as possible -- this is the rare approach that gives us quality (Mikal Bridges) and quantity in terms of potential lottery picks.

Mikal + Markelle + future picks or just Luka. I'd definitely have to mull it over.

Has Danny Ainge heard it? If he does he’ll get traded..

Yes, you would have some nice assets, but Phila would have Doncic, Simmons, Šarič and Embiid, and that's a nightmare IMO

You can't possibly believe this stuff you're saying about all these middling prospects. Meanwhile, we gift potential dynasties elsewhere.

@jamall you're teetering on the edge, sir.

I'll repeat this surprisingly controversial statement for the record:

Mikal + Markelle + future picks or just Luka. I'd definitely have to mull it over.

I'm looking to come out of this draft with multiple pieces. If you think Luka can singlehandedly save this franchise...I am simply more skeptical.

Luka has a chance to be great. None of that dreck package you have us taking back has that potential. So I'll ax again, what are you doing to us, @jammmmm? Wait, I see it now. This is the Selltic version of @jamm speaking. Listen. Let us speak to the Hawks fan. I know you're in there.

It would be nice, but philla would be up there with Boston with that trade IMO.

I think it would be better do draft Doncic and trade up with nr19 to grab Miles, Lonnie or Zhaire who would all be a nice fit with Luka.

And this is a very reasonable approach. Lonnie I think is a really good pairing with Luka and Coach Pierce.

Zhaire Smith, in theory, would also be a great complement to Luka's skillset.

Big picture: I think we as Hawks fans have a tendency to place too high of expectations on our young draftees. Last summer we were talking about John Collins as a superstar and franchise pillar after summer league...

I can only imagine just how high the expectations will be for Luka. It's okay to be excited...just remain patient.

As far as team building goes, we are still in phase one: asset acquisition.
