We only have Baze. Bembry. Huerter. Crabbe. Anderson.

Can't assume Vince is coming back to be our sixth SG... we need insurance at that position.

Heard Vince to Heat is a possibility but I would love Vince for another tour. I swear he mentors the crap out of our kids.

Right over, that’s right! Baze and Bembry still have a chance to get dealt. I mean with the acquisition of Crabbe, somebody is out.

Seems today’s game is truly position less specially 2/3 3/4 and even 4/5. Players are becoming equally skilled all around the court.

Would love Vince back (Vince didn'tplay at SG this year, SF n PF), but regarding our plethora of SGs:

Huerter - the only lock.
Bembry - most likely a lock
Anderson - will his final year option be picked up? (Played at SF)
Baze and Crabbe - expirings and no telling what's still to come.

You could say Huerter and Herro are very similar prospects, with the Kevin having the edge more as a defender with better length and higher IQ. Herro has a better handle, and more of a shot creator. Herro may not fit the "PDS" model to a T, but if you're going to play him to his strengths, and use him accordingly as a 6th man, microwave scorer, then he doesn't need to fit it to a T.

In regards to the guys you mentioned, Baze won't be here after next year. Bembry can't shoot to save his life. Don't see Anderson being a factor. More like just depth. Crabbe could be useful. Huerter can be the starter. So half the guys may not even be around, so we will need some depth anyway. Why not draft a guy with a strong offensive game, and make him your scorer off the bench? I'm sure if Schlenk indeed made the selection, it would be for those reasons.

Your point is well-taken, Geaux, but Huerter, Bembry and Crabbe are all almost certainly going to be here for opening night.

It's not hard to imagine Baze could be traded, but seemingly more realistic that he's traded at the deadline.

Anderson is the legitimate question mark, but as someone noted, he's the one of the bunch that also can play legitimately at small forward.

It shouldn't surprise any of us if Schlenk's opening night roster features five SGs... after all, that's what happened last October, with Uncle Vince occupying the slot that Crabbe now appears likely to fill.

I will be surprised if that number inflates to six.

This is an amazing analysis on Hunter. His offensive ceiling is limited, but his physical tools can bother the likes of Giannis/KD on the defensive end. He's doing a breakdown on Culver which should be interesting.

Doumbouya is my current wish for the Hawks 1st Pick! He seems to have so much talent and potential!

Dream scenario for me is
# 8 Reddish
#10 Sekou Doumbouya
#17 Bol
#21 Kabengele or Fernando via trade with OKC for 2nd rounders

With this 4 picks we take 2 players with highest ceiling of the draft while solving the holes we have at SF and C. That would be for me A++ draft.

I have to admit that I will be very surprised if Bol is still available at 17 (Unless, He gets some bad medical reports) and if either Kabengele or Fernando are available at 21 BUT I will be THRILLED if your Draft Scenario does come true!!! And, I hope I am wrong but I am expecting the Hawks to trade some of their picks (Don’t care if they trade any or all their 2nd Round Picks!) to move up in the Draft UNLESS it is for Williamson! If your DREAM comes true then I do think the Hawks future definitely looks very, very good/
promising!!!

Ummm I don't know....first 10 picks are clear for me, afrer that is fluid but I think Rui, Little, Goga, Clarke, Nickeil Alexander and PJ Washington may have an edge. That might allow Bol to fall there. Then Herro, Keldon Johnson, Kevin Porter Jr, Romeo Langford might allow us to take Fernando or Kabengele. I agree is difficult but is possible

This mock draft for example supports the scenario

I REALLY don’t want Bol. I’m not ready to cringe every time he takes contact. I feel like he’s one poster away from a really bad injury, whether he’s dishing one out or on the opposite end of it.

They said the same thing about this guy.... they really did, I'm not making that up, and as a Marshall alum, I'm one who knows....

... and to this day, Jerry Jones cringes that he let the risk overcome his recognition of the reward.

I'm persuaded there will be at least two surprises in the first 10, and on top of that, two of the typical first 8 will go out of order... this draft is just too flat after Zion and Morant... now, it may be that that happens because of a trade or two or maybe even three... but regardless, that outcome is my Nostradamus impersonation for this draft.

You are probably right, always happen the same with some surprises on the lottery but nearly all mock drafts are consistently considering the same 10 players on the top 10 and 9 of those 10 have received the first invitations to the green room, perhaps this is the year top 10 meet expectations.
