Trae handled it good.Jamaaliver wrote:

No, he shouldn't have responded to the bait at all. His follow-up was calm but unnecessary.
And the response from the Hawks socials only reinforces Beverly's point, unfortunately. The only reason this has not gone poorly for Trae is that people despise Pat Bev.
Once the Hawks have moved on from Trae, people are going to look back at these minor things very differently. Right now, Hawks fans feel this desperate need to defend him because the team is not good. It's not particularly healthy.

A wise man said, 'Never argue with fools....'
The best thing Trae Young can do right now to change his image: win basketball games.

This feud is literally the best thing that Pat Bev has going on right now.
His podcast benefits from all the extra attention.

Trae's friendship with Quavo is always nice to see. I will buy the track or cd.
Quavo always has my respect. He is a nice guy in my experience being around him in my career life and I have family/friends that went to the same high school as him (Berkmar).

Kristaps Porzingis on Trae Young: 'He’s a really good communicator — not just on the floor, but off it too'Oct. 10, 2025, 7:15 AM EDT
Other than Trae’s unexpected passes, has anything surprised you about playing with him?" Kristaps Porziņģis: "Yeah, he’s a really good communicator — not just on the floor, but off it too. He’s a cool dude, really genuine — that’s just who he is. I can see why he’s so good. It makes sense with how he carries himself. Of course, on the court, his playmaking is insane. You’ll have moments like, 'Wow, how did he see that? How did he make that happen?' It’s a privilege to play with him."

As a fan of KP from Latvia who has followed his career for 10 years, KP in general is a pretty laid-back dude, relaxed, easy to get along with. He loves playing basketball and he likes to have fun on the court with his teammates. He was happy playing in Washington, he was happy in Boston and he'll be happy here. He was maybe not so happy in Dallas but I think that was mostly related to his injuries and not being able to play his best game, find his place on the team.

Seeing him happy is a good look on him. I have followed his career closely. He never wanted to be in Dallas. Money talks and that's how Cuban acted. I will agree his fit with the team and recovery from the setious injuries was difficult.Ville5 wrote:HMFFL wrote:Seeing KP this happy is just strange to me.

He will be great for Trae and Atlanta.
