FTR, I was pulling for a Markkanen trade years ago. Long before his career renaissance in Utah.
The problem now is cost. Danny Ainge does not offer discounts. And an All Star caliber scorer in his prime will likely cost a pretty penny. Plus the price of a contract extension.
