And then they lost by 2 to a scrappy Pacers team.

Cavs don't look good at all.

Unless they get a top 3 pick this summer...that franchise is headed nowhere fast.

:D

Sixers, with their two ex Hawks, are now up 3-1 in round one. They are going home for the next game Tuesday.
Since Hawks are not in the post game competition, I'm happy for the two ex Hawks...

GO SIXERS !!!!

Couple questions ...

a. If you're NOP, do you bother bringin' Cousins back?

2. Does POR need to decide Dame or Chuk? If so, who shld they keep?

iii. Will the Hawks figure for any of the loose pieces?

a. Heyul nawl. Money better spent elsewhere.
2. Heyul yeah. Keep Lillard.
iii. Only if Budz stays.

I wouldn’t bring Cousins back if I’m the Pels. Cousins ...Dwight...Melo...the do not touch list.

Blazers have to split up I’ve been saying that for 2 years and I wanted CJ before but not with our rebuild.

Jaylen Brown looks like a stud.

Not a star player, but a 2-way difference maker capable of taking over a game.

Cal baby...dang I really wanted us to draft Jaylen Brown. My main man from Cal...at least if we weren’t gonna get him why did he have to go to the Celts of all teams...smh.

Yeah, he went to my old High School in metro Atlanta (Wheeler High). Home of Shareef Abdur Rahim -- my old classmate (and another Cal Bear).

Celts took some criticism for settling on J Brown back in the 2016 draft instead of making a move for a vet.

Like I said before they have a sock full of nickles and dimes they are trying to pass off as gold coins.

That decision looks awful good today.

Ah, there it is ... I knew (as a GT alum) there was something I didn't like about you.

If anyone doesn't know, there's some really sour history between GT, Wheeler and Cal all starting with Mr. Abdur Rahim. There's a reason I rejoiced when Lipscomb left.

Oh wow was Reef supposed to go to GT? Did he back out? I don’t know he story, I just remember Reef dominating people at Cal. Hey you guys had Stephon Starbury, isn’t that enough? He was so good he wanted to split from KG.

Kenny Anderson > Marbury

Long story short, he was GT's until Cal paid him. His HS coach (of the most high profile bball-related HS in Atlanta) proceeded to steer players away from GT for decades after. Probably because we wouldn't match Cal's offer. :)

Yeah...I was only about 15 when Shareef graduated. But that sounds about right.

I do recall some hullabaloo regarding Coach Lipscomb and his BBall players for a few years. Rumor back then was that he was using illegal monies to get top players to move into his district, so...

Yeah.

We suddenly had an influx of very athletic, under-privileged black kids moving to one of the most upscale, exclusive school districts in the metro area.

AL is avg a career high 18 ppg along with a solid 8 rpg thus far in the playoffs. Not bad for a man at this stage of his career.

He's still not living this down anytime soon:

The Celtics escaped Game 5 with help from a horribly missed shot clock violation

Boston goes up 3-2 in the series with the win, but they were helped by a blown call
.

Late in Game 4, with 1:16 left in the fourth quarter, all three referees failed to call out Al Horford’s late three-pointer, one that seemed late even from the naked eye watching the television screen.

Here’s the play in question:

...the missed violation led to a Celtics offensive rebound and another 30 seconds running off the clock.

The NBA should be able to overturn a blatantly missed call like that..smh..Adam Silver you are so transparent it’s comical.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
