I still think Barrett is All Star talent, we have a great coaching staff for helping with his decision making

Harden scored 500 million points tonight and Memphis still won. I'm officially done paying attention to who is tanking and who isn't. It's a crap shoot, a toss up, who gets #1 through #5 and I just can't devote 3/4 of my life anymore to worrying about it. Last post on tanking/draft position.

Barrett is a ball dominant offensive player who isn't particularly good at any offensive skill....Not a good fit for the Hawks and Trae Young... Also he isn't athletic enough to be a great defender.

I predict RJ Barrett will have the longest, most productive career of anyone in this draft.

But I don't believe he fits the model for what we want to do moving forward.

Huerter is a much better fit with the Hawks than RJ Barrett

Larry Bird was not athletic enough to be a great defender as well :noway:

We need a true 2 way SF.. we don't need a guard..
Their is a lot of second tier guys in FA that could fit the mold as well

Wow that fella that ate us alive off the Rockets bench the other night is making 200k a year.. I would seriously do some homework on this kid cause he could be a hidden gem

Larry Bird I'm sure was not known for his great defense.

^Is that 'Cadillac' Anderson I see?

Man, our Hawks teams in the 90s had probably the worst bench in the league. He and Anthony 'Pig' Miller were just terrible...

Not saying that he was a poor defender but he is a HOF'er because of his offense and shooting. Barrett is not a good offensive player and not a good enough defender to be taken in the lottery.

Shameless tank.. It's clear Cuban has no intentions on honoring that pick this year..
