Out of curiosity, would you guys be open to moving Carmelo if you could get Tobias Harris in return?

(I'm thinking of a larger, three team trade.)

Personally, I would not move Melo because Denver gets our first rounder. In the offseason, I would, but he has a no trade clause, and I doubt he'd waive it unless he was going to team that was competing for a championship without him.

Three team trade where Knicks give up Melo, Afflalo and receive Teague, Tobias Harris and Channing Frye.

You guys in?

again, Melo would more than likely block that deal. value wise it's a not a bad deal, but I'd be reluctant to add anyone who would force us to play Porzingas at center.

Sadly, it's probably not that far off.

We do need a wing. And the salaries do match. (IIRC)

I disagree. I really like Afflalo and would like to pursue him in FA, but he can basically bolt this summer if he declines his player option (which he probably will due to the fact that the cap increases this summer). I wouldn't trade Teague for an expiring role player.

Read on Twitter

Saw the above tweet and it reminded me of all the young talent ORL has at the 2 & 3.

Buddy Grizzard over at HawksHoop proposed a trade designed to get ORL top young prospect who seems ill-fitting on that squad as currently constructed:

He proposed sending Millsap to ORL for Victor Oladipo and the contract of Tobias Harris.

ORL gets the veteran PF they wanted last summer to pair with Vucevic and gets rid of Harris.

Hawks get younger, acquiring a top SG prospect and a decent (if slightly overpaid) SF prospect while gaining cap space.

We no longer have to overpay for Bazemore this summer. (Oladipo has mire upside.)

And we could probable get a pick swap thrown in for good measure...that's just how great Millsap has been. And just how desperate ORL is to get back to the playoffs.

NOTE: It appears Buddy Grizzard has been fired over at HawksHoop...All his articles have been removed from their site.

Anybody hear why?

Jeff Teague just deleted everything Hawks related from his Instagram page.

Idk if it's been suggested, but how would you feel about Jeff Teague and Splitter for Robin Lopez and Jose Calderon?

That is a full on negative. It's doubtful the Hawks would have interest in tying up the money owed to Lopez while downgrading from Teague.

The Hawks have been gauging the market for point guard Teague...Sources say the Indiana Pacers have made inquiries and have dangled guard George Hill as a possible swap. The Magic are also potential suitors for Teague, sources confirmed.

Derrick Rose sat yesterday's game with "general soreness" and looked pretty spry. Hopefully (as a Bulls fan) that and Teague's instagram are related...

Not a rumor, but a question:

Rose, Portis, Snell for Teague, Thabo, and Splitter?

We don't want any part of Rose and his contract. Players that would interest us are Mcdermott, Portis, and Mirotic, and to a much lesser extent Snell.

I dont know what is involved in the package, but player for player. I like Teague better than Hill. At least something is stirring. I was getting tired of waiting

Why not trade Teague and Hardaway for Oladipo and CJ Watson? Or a 3 team trade where G. Hill lands in ORL, Teague in IND and Oladipo in the ATL?

Because Orlando wouldn't go for that. I'd absolutely love to get Ola"3 and D"ipo for Teague and THJ but I don't think that's enough for the Magic (just George Hill isn't enough either).
