Do you consider him an option at 49? The math doesn't lie, around 90% of prospects don't stick around too long that deep in the 2nd, but I don't know if I'm a draft eternalist, this draft seems to have alot of guys that can stick on the roster.

It's probably 4-5 guys that I would be excited to have that should be around by 49.

Mac Mclung tested out with a 43 inch vert and sub 3 second three quarters sprint. Going by the numbers, the sprint is more elite than the vert.

Probably moves up pass 49, but who knows.

Draft order finally set. Congrats to DET. They're gonna be monsters with Killian and Cade Cunningham.

IDK much about him. But he certainly has the look/feel of a solid NBA prospect.

A definite possibility at #20.

I would definitely target this guy in the second round. Even if I had to trade up for him or buy a second round pick.

Code: Select all

Thor made a huge impression at the combine with his smooth left-handed stroke. He's still in need of some polish around the edges of his game but the shooting, 6-10 frame and length all popped, potentially pushing him into first-round discussions where he hadn't previously been.

Wouldn't be mad at Mann, Duarte, or even Butler. Guard class is super solid.

I thought that Charles Bassey was a top 10 prospect, but when i check the latest mock draft, most have him as a mid to late first round pick.

If Bassey ends up falling to the Hawks, it would be an absolute steal!

Moses Moody, Ayo Dosunmu, Jaden Springer, Nah'Shon Hyland, and Jared Butler are the best defensive player that might be available to the Hawks in the late first round.

Noticed that Coach Nate prefers defensive players, which is why Hill probably got more minutes that he should have in the playoffs.

This young man was projected to be a top-10 pick years ago coming out of HS. After three adversity filled seasons in College, he's worked his way back into 1st round pick territory.

I do like polished collegiates coming into the NBA. They seem more capable of adjusting to the rigors of the pro game.

I must have glossed over this one. Yeah this dude is almost up there with Kuminga and Barnes as that 2nd/3rd tier of the class.

He's basically a defensive version of Collins both having skill.

NBAFinals Game 1 Summary........ "Free Throw Shooting is IMPORTANT!"

Besides health, the 2021 playoffs has really showed that Free Throw Shooting is IMPOTANT and it is a skill that can't really be learned while in the NBA.

I've always put a higher value on college free throw shooting when evaluating prospects and consider it a tier one skill.

Jalen Johnson Free Throw Shooting: 61%
