Re: Season discussion and analysis part I
This would legitimately be a bad move...
Cassell is more in line with Adrian Griffin in being a topflight assistant who would likely struggle with the rigors of being the head man in charge.
IIRC, he has some severely limiting...communication issues.

Re: Season discussion and analysis part I
Once the season is over for us and the time to think about ways to improvement has arrived, I would like to give my remarks on what has been the season to me.
I believe Snyder has been a super coach in a not so easy situation. He had to deal with the departure of Murray, multiple injuries in key players and a young roster that had an important deal through the season. He has accomplished a much better level in Trae compared to other seasons and a much bigger commitment, although he has not been the only person responsible of that, as I understood the GM and other people within the organization demanded a step forward by Trae and he indeed took that glove from the ground.
He has been able to insert Mann, LeVert and Niang right into the rotation, getting good performances from them in almost all games since they arrived.
Also he has developed a style of play that fits the characteristics of out players, although a big step forward will be expected next season.
I see the players buy into his ideas and his system and have created a nice group of people that would follow their coach and have sympathy for each other, which is not so easy to get these days.
So my thoughts in general would be a general sense of continuity with everything we are doing, but with the big need of identifying our weaknesses and addressing them, them being lack of athleticism, rebounding, intimidation, a bench PG or whatever they think they are. But I firmly believe we could be close to rounding up a very good team in the East. My biggest concern, besides getting some size, would be getting everybody healthy and player development, especially for Gueye and Risacher, but also for Krejci and OO. If Daniels could develop a more sophisticated off game, then it would not hurt...
