Every game we get a decent lead we give it up. I say it everytime, I'm waiting for a game where we can hold a decent lead.

I know you probably havent been watching him closely, but he cost us on 3 trips in a row in the clutch here. Once on offense by not going up strong and then travelling, then on Joe Johnson's drive to the hoop he didnt step up on help D quickly enough and got there way too late, and then the horrible foul on Josh Smith. The guy can be one of the best PF's in the league, when he uses his head.... but thats just not too often.

I like that AJ stood right next to their unofficial huddle.

Even though they won it is hard for me to feel that good about it. They were choking bad.

JJ just decided to take it to the basket tonight. He only made 2 jumpers all game.

Good game by the Hawks.

The Cavs came out half-assed thinking they could pull another 4th qtr comeback. I thought JJ was great down the stretch.

You guys clearly outplayed us and deserved to win. Good luck the rest of the way

Cleveland has been playing well(and Lebron played like he wanted to win) and we have been playing like **** so I think this is a good win. We are going to blow leads...time for us to get used to it. We haven't played 48 minutes of good basketball was against the Bobcats a long time ago. We also have done a good job of coming back in games....The Indiana loss was really the only game where we got blown out and didn't even get back in the game since playing Detroit at home.

Couple things from the game. First of all it was GREAT seeing Josh Smith matched up on Lebron in crunch time. He tends to be a phenomenal help defender but can get taken over in one on one defense, just nice to see him step up when it matters.

And great to see Joe take advantage of a mismatch on defense. Like I said coming in, the Cavs had no one who on paper could really match up with him, nice to see him consistently generate offense.

It was good to see Joe finally have a good game tonight. Did anyone else hear when Steve Smith said "not alot of Boobie sightings tonight"?

He also said "it's time to put the closer in." Glad Woody doesn't hear that.

Thank God we didn't see "the closer" in crunch time tonight.

Surprised by the solid game by Lo Wright. Joe played big time especially driving on Gooden when he tried to double him late. Josh was a little weak on the boards, but had a good offensive night and played some good perimeter D. He also drew a lot of fouls on both ends. Decent crowd due to the star power of Lebron. I feel good about the win because the guys withstood a good run by Cleveland.

Kind posts by visiting Cav fans.

It wasn't a great game by any means from anyone beside JJ and Horford. Right now it is a win which the team needed. I will take a few ugly wins in a row if it gets the team going again. Hawks just needed that winning feeling again more than anything. Now maybe they will play the rest of the home games with much more confidence.

Hahaha, I never realized that. The Wire is the best show on TV.

Decent win. But I'm sick of blowing big leads. They should have never pulled back that far. Yet another good shooting game from Smoove and AJ is back playing well again. But the man tonight was JJ, he stepped it up down the stretch and forced the issue. He is capable of doing that every night, hopefully he'll turn it around.

Lo Wright actually has a chance to save this team inside with his toughness. He's playing like the crafty vet we expected last year. I don't want to see Shelden or Zaza playing many minutes for a while.

GREAT game Joe

his shot wasn't worry, so in this game he had zero 3pt attempts, and did other things to influence the game and low and behold..... Hawks win!

Joe played great today. Im still confident he will turn it around and get back to his all-star status he had last season. The defense in the 3rd quarter really helped us. glad to be a hawks fan
