If the argument for the Cavs winning the trade is let's wait and see how the #8 pick's career turns out then I think I have most definitely won the bet.

Then shouldn't you also wait to see how Kyrie returns from his knee surgery and if he'll actually resign with Boston after next season?

Kyrie wanted his own team that's one of the reasons he wanted out - Tatum and Brown has made that team theirs in his absence, will he be happy with that?

We're getting so many let's wait and sees it's crazy. Lebron may leave! How will that make the trade look?

Another way to look at it is that Boston acquired (at minimum) 2 years of a top 10 player making barely more than Baze for the #8 pick in the draft.

If we judge it today did the trade benefit the Cavs or Boston more so far? To me the answer is clear. If we want to evaluate the trade a year from now or 5 years from now the answer may be different but that's true of any trade.

I'll go back and look. The bet may have even had a time limit on it. I think I said by this summer no one will think the Cavs won the trade. So I guess we can give it until the draft. Spud knows I'm not going to lose though. There already isn't anyone who seriously thinks it was a good trade for the Cavs. As Jamaal said, no one on the Cavs side would do it again.

You and Jamal need to chill. If anyone has already won it...it’s the Cavs. They are in the finals, Boston is on vaca. Anything else is just spilled milk at this point..(Jerry West)...

I can wait to collect my winnings until August. I'm loaded anyway.

MacD, Jamal? You guys there?

Damnit I told you they went to see the new movie Uncle Drew together! Aaaahhhhhhh :P

Seriously you two should go on opening night and invite Al Horford as well. If he can’t come he will most likely slap his hands together in disgust.

Ps Green tie optional!

I eggspect this kind of nonsensicality from @jamallll. You oughta be ashamed, macd.

Look, pick a lane, bro. Are you a See or an O. I'm sure Trae won't take kindly to you doing cartwheels in that new Bismack jersey when Kyme goes through a dribble series next season.

Don't think I haven't noticed you sitting quietly in your lawn chair refusing to answer the question. Did the Cavs win the trade? Are you too scared to upset your bestie by speaking the truth?

Eh, I don't really care enough. Kinda rooting for the meteor on that one. Hope, the next time the Seees 'n Cavs play, a West Side Story-esque knife-fight breaks out.

We should really be discussing how friggin pathetic this league is that we are on four years of GS-Cavs. And had Kyrie not hit a contested game 7, 3 pointer with 53 seconds left then we'd be looking at 4 straight championships for GS. :)

I’m boycotting. My 28th fav team (calfs) take on #30 (scrubs)... The only thing worse the league could have done to me personally was out my (29th fav team) Celts vs Warriors. Thanks Silver, ya douche!

Is Chadwick Bozeman stuck with that stupid haircut for the next 4+ years?

That's almost as bad as the guy from "My Name is Earl" with that stupid mustache.

The hairstyle has to be a personal choice as Boseman doesn't have it in neither of his 3 appearances as Black Panther. I just doubt he's under some ridiculous contractual agreement as Henry Cavill was during Justice League:

Lol. Earl Smith is brain ded. Just casually dribblin the ball out although they could've won it in regulation.

Entire complexion of the Finals could have been changed from a likely sweep to a competitive series if the refs didn’t overturn the charge call with Cleveland up with less than a minute left, Hill making both FTs, and JR not being JR.

LeBron was letdown by all his teammates with the game on the line.

Why don’t you go eat a McDLT and leave everybody alone... Seriously can you be any more dramatic. I boycotted it so I didn’t watch and won’t...I’ve seen this movie three times. It’s an overkill.

Lebron legit completed the entire group project just for JR Smith to forget to turn it in.

But in all seriousness, what more does Lebron have to do? 51/8/8 on 59% shooting in game 1 of the NBA Finals on the road. This is turning into a tragedy at this point.

Aye, Spudlous. Don't comment on the DJ's set or how down the ladies were from outside the club.

My post was tongue in cheek (don't do it). Everyone complains about how 'Bron relies on the refs yet they overturned probably the most important call of the game against him. They relied on an 80% FT shooter to give them the lead yet he choked at the line. Then they relied... well you really shouldn't rely on JR, ever.

Most are like "wow, the Cavs could have really stole this one." but I get your disinterest. Just hope the Warriors ticker tape parade doesn't interrupt your afternoon donut run, be a shame having to walk an extra block to get around it
