CNN'Trivago Guy' Timothy Williams arrested for driving while intoxicated
Timothy Williams, best known as the pitchman for travel site "Trivago," was arrested this week after Houston police say they found him passed out behind the wheel of a car in a moving lane of traffic.
When asked about Williams' arrest, a Trivago spokesperson told CNN in a statement: "At this stage, we do not have the full details of the situation, but we want to make clear that Trivago treats such incidents very seriously and strongly condemns drinking and driving which poses a risk to others and goes against the Trivago culture."
CNN has has also reached out to Tim Williams and is waiting on a response.
Williams has had acting roles on "Cosby Show" and "Law and Order." But he shot to fame as the rough-and-tumble pitchman for "Trivago."
In later ads, he came across as more polished -- his hair nicely tousled and a fashionable touch of facial stubble.

Story of the Day:
Yahoo Lifestyle7-Eleven owner sends shoplifting teen home with food instead of calling 911
An owner of a 7-Eleven in Toledo, Ohio responded to a teenager shoplifting from his store with kindness — and now the act is going viral.
Jitendra "Jay" Singh was working in the store's back office when his cashier alerted him to a possible shoplifter. Singh confirmed the employee's suspicions when he witnessed the teenager pocket gum and candy on the store's security cameras.
Singh approached the teen and asked him to empty his pockets. The teenager placed a few stolen items, mostly candies, on the counter...As Singh's employee called 911 and had a dispatcher on the phone, the boy told Singh why he was stealing. "He said, 'I'm stealing for myself. I'm hungry, and I'm doing it for my younger brother,'" Singh told ABC 13.
Singh asked his employee to hang up.
"I said, 'Well that's not food. You're stealing gum and candies. That's just something for munching,'" Singh, who has owned the store for five years, told CNN. "I said, 'If you're hungry, ask me. I'll give you food.'"
According to a user on Facebook who witnessed the scene, Singh packed up chicken wings, sausage rolls, a whole pizza and a 2-liter bottle of soda for the teenager.

If everyone showed one act of kindness to another less fortunate, this world might be different.

VoxStar Wars: Episode IX is titled The Rise of Skywalker. Watch the first teaser now.
The Skywalker saga is coming to a close after nine movies and 42 years.
Lucasfilm has finally revealed the official title for Star Wars: Episode IX. Drumroll, please. The final film in the latest Star Wars trilogy is called Star Wars: Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker.
“We will take a pause, some time, and reset, because the Skywalker saga comes to an end with this ninth movie,” Iger told Bloomberg on April 11, coinciding with Disney’s quarterly presentation for investors. “There will be other Stars Wars movies, but there will be a bit of a hiatus.” Iger has made comments along these lines before, but it’s nice to know he’s sticking to his guns on this one.

Not a great first episode of GOT, but I get that they need to set things up. Still, I'd be a lot more satisfied with the set-up episode if the season was 10 episodes and not just 6.

Perhaps the best premiere episode in the show’s history, the Season 8 premiere focused on what’s always made ‘Thrones’ so great: internecine squabbles and the cold, hard realities that govern themSpoiler:

Hmmm. Glad I dvr'd it instead of watching.
My plan was to stockpile a couple episodes before I dove in. I know, I know. I'mma be dodging spoilers for a few weeks so it's a bold move, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for me.
