I'm 1 of the few left who believes in this team, they can get it done on Friday. Why?? Because they have to.

Great thread HMFFL. I'll hold out hope for the game, but i'm far from optimistic.

Yeah, the fact that the Hawks road record is under .500 and that the Bucks have won 3 straight really have tipped the odds against you. Best of luck gents, don't slit your wrists if your Hawks fail again.

That happens only if the team loses game 6 AND the coach is rehired.

I believe we'll win this series, but it's going to take effort from our players, and Woodson will need to get creative. Hell, let him just get back to the basics. I think there is a gap between our and players at this point.

Even if I still think that this team is not better than last year, I still think they can win this series, and there is one thing that can happen:
if they want to win, they have to do it on the road, one thing they never succeed to do in the past three years.
If they can do it, that could lead to a winning mentality, at least more than what they have or had. It can also give real confidence, a better one than being confident because you won 53 games ;)

Let's all pray we can come out and win tomorrow night! Otherwise we will again be the laughing stock of the NBA.

Am I the only one who thinks Bibby needs a lot more minutes tomorrow? He's been playing a lot better than Crawford, and if I do recall, we did win our last regular season game at Milwaukee without Crawford and Bibby played great. It was a regular season game, but the playoff statistics warrant more PT for Bibby too.

I... honestly don't know if I want us to win tomorrow. I mean, even if we win tomorrow, there's a good chance we still lose the series, which would be even more crushing, and if we win the series, we're going to get stomped by Orlando. And just the fact that we make it out of the first round might be enough for the ASG to keep Woodson, for whatever reason. So yes, it will hurt, but it will hurt more long term if Woodson stays.

I want us to win Friday if for no other reason than to prove to me there is some heart on the team. I already have a season ticket for next year and I'd like to have some hope.

I am still refraining from discussing the future until the season is officially over, but a torrent is building inside me that I want to unleash.

I know what you mean. My torrent seems to be heading in another direction....indifference. I stopped watching the games at the end of the Babcock era. I am starting to feel the same way i did then.

I tuned out when the team acquired JR Rider and didn't return until Josh was drafted. I've not reached indifference yet, but I expect to hit that around the time of the lockout. Of course it is possible to drive me there faster if they turn in a performance like game 7 of the Celtics series 2 years ago.

Well guys were just a few hours away from another Hawks meltdown. It's sad going over to the Bucks board and seeing how energetic/happy they are. All i could do was congratulate them. Hawks really let us down this series. I still can't believe we will be eliminated tonight. Need a miracle.

I don't see the Hawks pulling out a win tonight. I just can't go against what the numbers tell me, and the numbers tell me the Hawks are a **** road playoff team. If you can't outplay, outhustle, outwork the Bucks on your own court, what makes you think they can in a hostile environment?

The only good thing that will come out of this is the search for a new coach. Woodson can't possibly be given a new contract if we get eliminated tonight.

Scott Skiles adjusted Defensive Assignments in Game 3. We've not adjusted well (if at all).

I just checked the line and we're favorites by 1.5 to 2 (depending on SportsBook). Why?

No idea why were favored. We will probably lose by at least 10+ pts.

Oh lets do it!!!!!!!!!!! Think positive fellas. Stick behind your team and keep the faith. This is a defining moment.

LETS GO HAWKS!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.
