Dwight Howard not being 1st is a joke.
I also think Rondo is getting a (little)overrated.

I can't really complain about that list, Durant is a stud and can be debated. If you don't think Rondo is taring it up then your just not paying attention or have other motives. The Celtics don't come close to the Finals without him. The kid is a triple double threat from the PG position nightly.

Rondo's playoffs were insanely overrated outside of the Cleveland series.

It's not like he was playing garbage teams, he was doing this against the best teams in the league in the playoffs. It wasn't like some stretch in the regular season where you go on a roll against teams that are mediocre to good. It's the playoffs where teams/coach's are devising/plotting/planning defenses and strategies against you. That's a little different therefore making it even more impressive.
Also the Marvin critique is sad but true.

I like Rondo....but the hype he was getting during the post-season is the media's obsession with giving the lion share of the credit/blame to one player as opposed to the entire team. There were legitimate debates throughout the last 2 months as to whether Rondo was the best point guard in the league and/or a top 10 player. A 17.8 PER in the postseason(Horford and Smith were over20) is good but not that special.

How is Brandon Jennings rated lower than Marvin? Off of confidence alone you have to give the edge to Brandon Jennings. Having said that I hope a lot of people still have faith in Marvin, maybe it will bolster his trade value.

If Rondo is so overrated, then who do you want in front of him?
- Derrick Rose hasn't won a playoff series yet. His team is at .500.
- Tyreke Evans? Needs more time.
- Monta Ellis - he definitely hasn't shown he can lead a team.
- Smoove and Horford - different strategy altogether. While they are both resourceful, they don't lead a team either. They are backup options to JJ and Jamal.
Not to worry, Rondo will be off the list next year.....

Derrick Rose has a much worse team and is a much better player.
