My theory is that Collins has the worst work ethic in the entire league. The only 2 aspects of basketball that he isn't hilariously bad at are low post defense(because of his massive size)and flopping(intelligence). Neither of those require him to go to a gym during the summer. You have guys who are "out of shape"(in relative terms) like Shaq,D.Cousins,B.Davis,and then you have guys who are just "fat".
Collins is clearly just cashing in all the checks he is actually forced to use his prestigious Stanford degree because there's clearly no way in hell he actually enjoys playing basketball.

Why does Jason Collins being fat have anything to do with Evan Brock? Who the hell is Evan Brock?

I believe Evan Brock was only brought in for practice. But Richard Delk I believe could actually make the team...... his odds increase if JC is traded.

Evan Brock is 26. Played high school ball in Marietta. Went to college at Alabama and played 19 mpg as a senior. I don't think he ever was a starter there. He's played as a pro in Korea and possibly Venezuela. He's a local invite with little chance of making roster.
Then again none of the training camp invites are likely to make the roster because Pape Sy makes 14 under contract meaning only one opening and it is unlikely that the Hawks fill that spot. I was surprised with bringing Sy over as you are only required to have 13 players under contract (yes I believe the ASG is that tight financially that I am surprised that spent any over the minimum required).

Thanks for the follow up info guys.
I was just caught off guard when I was flicking through the team photos and saw someone I didn't know in uniform.
But almost seems certain our roster is set and guys like Brock have no chance. He's got some nice highlight dunk vids on youtube though.
