If I recall correctly, the Hawks got slaughtered by the Magic in the preseason last year.

We got swept by these guys by an avg of 25ppg and D. Howard missing like 5 shots the entire series and the Hawks throw 120M on a guard. How intelligent. We will play hard this time, of course, it's a meaningless game.

I never understood why we doubled Dwight as soon as he caught the ball when Horford is clearly outmatched strength wise but at the same time can keep Dwight sufficiently far enough from the paint that he has to take that ugly hook shot.

Hopefully Drew addresses this.

Hate to say it but this is a must win for us....Preseason or not, the psyche of the team and the fans simply cannot survive another 25 point drumming by the hands of the Magic on national TV.
Really what's worrying me is if we go down like that again is having to read the sky is falling fan reactions ranging from "blow it up" to "Drew has no clue." This thread has already started off in that direction.

Won't hurt if they tried. If nothing else, it's preseason so if it works they can improve upon it in the regular season.

Starters going for 1-15 so far. Ouch.

the motion offence for this game seems to mean passing the ball around slowly then settling for an iso play with a long fade away jumper.

Collins still seems like the worst player in the league - fat or no fat.

Magic are really good.

LOL, yeah, don't feel bad.

We have an undeserving contract or 2 of our own....

I'd feel a lot better if we had a Top 5 guy in the league... if you guys REALLY feel bad we'd be willing to do a Dwight timeshare ;)

It's just preseason, the result doesn't matter. However, I have to say that our schemes just looked like a mirror image of Woody's. We were very stagnant offensively with little ball movement. Not what I wanted to see but I'll hold out judgment until the games count.
