I previously projected him as a Jimmy Butler/Kawhi caliber prospect in the future...admittedly, that seems very unlikely now.

But I still foresee him as an Iguodala-type payer who can do wonders for a good team. Good defender, good passer.

I agree he's a solid guy but it's what I call 'Shane Battier Syndrome'. You don't take a guy that high to simply be 'solid'. You can develop 'solid' from the gleague or from a 2nd rounder. Also, I don't pay 'solid' $13mil per either.

Don't get me wrong, I see how a guy like WinSLOW can garner that kind of money. I'm just saying I'd prefer to simply start over with a 'solid' guy who has some upside ... for cheaper.

I never saw Kawhii potential from him. Ever. He played 4 in college which was the only reason he seemed so impactful. I never expected that to be replicated in the NBA and I was proven right. Now eggscuse me while I pop my shoulder back in. Might've torn a ligament patting myself on the back there.

Comparing him to Iguodala is insulting to Andre. Remember he actually led a team to the playoffs and was a pretty good scorer in PHI. If you're comparing him to Andre now, you should call him IgOLDala. I'd actually agree with that comparison but, again, that's not a guy I invest in for the future.

Then Kawhi and Green both swooping in to block a Celtics layup, reminding us how amazing a good defense can be. Getting D Green in package for Kawhi was brilliant move by Ujiri
