VS.

Minnesota has been getting dumped on lately. Not sure if Beasley will play. 6-0?

Go Hawks!
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Minny fan here.

Quick question - Who is scrub player off the bench?

Answer - The player who is going to go off for 20 points against Minnesota
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Come on Vindicater, it's a bit early in the season for that level of despair. You guys have had a really tough schedule. Also Brandon Bass isn't a scrub player, he's just gotten inconsistent minutes in Orlando.

I'm just hoping our front offices will work out a Kevin Love for Josh Smith trade while they're in the same building.

That will never happen. We have ABSOLUTELY no need for Kevin Love when we have Horford. Smoove is 100 times better than Love anyways.

Atlanta Hawks: Drew faces ‘dilemma’ with Marvin and Mo out

Marvin is to get an MRI on his right knee today. He’s not making the trip to Minnesota. Neither is Mo (knee).

“It puts us in a little bit of a dilemma because both of our threes are out,” L.D. said.

Jamal (toe) will be on the team flight today but he’s questionable. Even if he plays, L.D. said he’s leaning against putting him in the starting lineup.

“Him off the bench just gives us such a weapon,” he said. ” If I don’t have to disrupt that, I don’t want to.”

So what are his options with the starting lineup?

“I am looking at different things. I am looking at Minnesota and because they have such a big lineup with Beasley, Milicic and Love, I may have to go bigger at the three. If Jamal is at the two, and Joe is at the three, then Joe has to guard Beasley, and I don’t want that.”

Translation: The likely starting lineup will be Bibby, Joe, Smoove, Al and Zaza. That’s how the Hawks finished last night against Detroit, and it worked. Josh will have to hound Beasley the same way he did Tayshaun because Beasley also is a crafty, natural scorer.

If Jamal does play, I hope we play him a limited amount of minutes, so he can rest his toe and be ready for the Phoenix game.

It's time to try the big lineup (Bibby, Joe, Josh, Al, ZaZa) rather than press injured players into service. Get ZaZa, Josh Powell, Jeff Teague, and Jordan Crawford more minutes off the bench and if needed give a few minutes to Jason Collins. We can slide things around and if the healthy play with intensity we should still be okay.

It's not despair, its 100% fact.

I am not saying we will lose to you guys, I am just saying that every teams scrub player has their career game against us. Its fate or some ****

Hawks should be able to match our Pf-Pf-C lineup with the Wolves Pf-Pf-C lineup so our depth issues should not be as much of a problem for this game but for some reason I've got this sneaking suspicion that Bassy is going to explode.

Fair enough. Jordan Crawford has gotten little PT so far but might be pressed into service due to injuries. If he or Josh Powell explode offensively then I will not doubt you in the future (I think we play again in just over a week).

Sadly, this hasn't only been the case this season. Its a recurring trend.

That was the worst possession I've seen from us in awhile.
