Hawks turned down Jason Thompson for Teague deal. Would and extra big like him benefited this team more. Horford/Smith/Thompson/Zaza front court rotation is not bad at all. Also mean more development for Jordan Crawford.

I'm not a fan of Jason Thompson. I think he's colossally overrated. Terrible shot selection, offensive black hole, has foul issues, poor awareness on both sides of the ball, and is mentally weak.

I mean, I'm not saying I wouldn't take him on the team, but I'm not trading away Teague quite yet. Maybe if the trade deadline rolls around and he hasn't proved anything yet.

Thompson is not someone we want on this team. Teague is prob not the answer but neither is Thompson.

I'm not losing any sleep if the Hawks passed on this because we already have a similar player in Zaza.....but Thompson is definitely better than Teague.

Thompson would add length but isn't a C. Unless we have a replacement plan for Teague I'm not sure I would have made the deal either. We need someone like Teague if not Teague himself. We need a quick/fast PG with good lateral movement on the roster.

would have to look at thompson contract aka how many years left. but i would of done it because

1) teague has shown little so far

2) serviceable big off the bench is always worth having.
