He plays for Illinois, a senior. He is basically a poor mans Deron Williams which is ironic cause he comes from the same school. Don't make the same mistake twice Hawks front office if this guy is available come draft day.

Hawks should go after Nolan Smith. this is a guy who i wonder why is not ranked as a high lottery pick. he reminds me of Darren Collins, or Chris Duhon, or Rondo..... a smart athletic and quick PG who loves and makes a living playing defense.

Smith is not a bad player...but I don't see the Rondo or Collison comparisons. Smith played the 2 alongside John Schyer,is currently playing the 2 alongside Kyrie Irving,and played the 2 alongside Brandon Jennings in highschool. He's a combo guard.

Would being a poor man's Deron Williams make him a better prospect than the Marcus Williams who came out of UConn? I like Mccamey but I'm always worried about the thin line between "big physical pg" to someone who just isn't that athletic.
