He wouldn't cost us much because the Knicks just want a pick and don't want to take any contracts back but the Hawks seem committed to having vets fill out the roster rather than having to develop any young guys. I'd love him as a Smoove-lite off the bench ensuring that we always have an athletic forward on the floor that can block shots, rebound, handle the ball and pass.

Teague for Randolph makes sense IMO.

i really do like Randolph, and i do think that he could produce more than Marvin and play better defense. but i just have such a high opinion on Nolan Smith, that i don't want the Hawks to give up a first round pick.
once Bibby is gone, i think a PG rotation of Teague and Nolan could be superb.

Does it matter? Randolph is viewed as a "throw in" to Knicks fans.

I'm not sold on Teague yet. I'm trying really hard to like the guy, but his speed is one of the only positive things about his game that I can find, so I hope he proves me wrong.
