Dec 20th: Orlando at Atlanta

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Mon Dec 20, 2010 1:36 am

I'll make this one, but I hope we get some replies, and even more so the win since New Jersey beat us.

I just can't wait to see our new players. Hopefully both of our teams get it together to give Miami headaches.

I'm interested in seeing who ends up coming off the bench for Orlando..

I think the magic, once they get this set of guys together, are going to dominate us even more than they have in the past. Not only do they dominate us in the paint, but they now have Gilbert on top of Jameer to abuse Bibby with too

This thread already has as many replies as the New jersey game and the game is a day away. :o
I'm interested to see how their new mix looks also, hopefully it takes them awhile to get on track meaning a win for us. The Hawks play at a very slow pace which only does their team makeup a disservice. Terrible team concept based on their personnel which is a internal flaw that the coaching staff and Co. have to correct. Although I and countless others have stressed this for seemingly year to year it continues to fall on deaf ears.

Walk it up, walk it up. jumper.Walk it up, walk it up, jumper. Fast break, kick it out for the 3 otherwise known as the Joe Johnson brick. :sour:

Orlando is favored to win by 2 points.

Jamal Crawford is out.

Vegas prop for Joe Johnson is over/under 16.5 points.

Are the new additions actually going to suit up? Can't imagine they've gotten into town and ran a practice in only one day. These aren't DLeague callups that would jump on a plane to Timbuktu this second if it meant an NBA job. These guys have family, living arrangements, their favorite mattress, whatever to move over to Orlando and I can't imagine any of them thought they'd get traded.

They missed the shootaround this morning, but all of them are going to be ready to play tonight.

How do new players go about adjusting to a new system right away? Does the usual game plan just go away, and more simple basketball plays are called instead? I've always wondered how they go about fitting in right away when they don't really know the plays 100%.

Whats gotten in to Collins?

Rathbun called Collins an expert post defender. LOL

After Hedo missed a shot, he said "He-Dont." Rathbun brought his A game tonight.

Wow.....I've seen alot of airballs but I don't ever think I've seen someone shoot over the basket on a baseline 3. Mo Evans is just brutal.

Its hard to believe his defense is worse than his offense. Theres gotta be someone we use other than Mo.

That block and then dunk by Marvin was some good basketball.

Thankfully Orlando did not figure out that they needed to drive to the hoop until it was too late. Good win for the Hawks. The big lineup really seems to work against them. Marvin even played well coming off the bench.

Rathburn always points out how long Howard takes to shoot free throws so I know he got a good laugh out of that.
