Updated: To make ammends for last week we led off with NBA Talk tonight on Southern Sports Universe. We discussed the red hot NBA Southeast, the Spurs 2 game losing streak, and why players are more interested in playing for Michael Jordan.

Please respond with any deals involving the Hawks. Listen live or as a podcast at: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/nba

In a 1:01:33 program, you began talking NBA basketball at the 57:36 mark. Thanks for wasting my time.

RealGM'ers, they talked about Yao (2 minutes of nothing - although they mentioned that San Antonio probably wouldn't want him, even though they said Duncan plays a little PF) and MEM (Mayo and Randolph - don't think they'll go to MIN).

THAT WAS ALL.

Houston has already indicated what they want for Yao Ming. The price they set, which we all know is just a starting point is very high, but even if SA wanted him they most likely don't have the pieces to acquire him. It's not likely that the two teams would even strike a deal anyway due to both teams being Texas rivals.

Parson,

My bad. The football talk went longer than scheduled. We lead with NBA a few weeks ago. I will make sure we discuss the NBA early in the show beefore i post an announcement next time.

No problem, I need to get called out sometimes. Don't worry as football season winds down the basketball talk WILL increase. Also, when callers call in our show goes in the direction they ask about.
