Damn, that was fast. And kind of pointless.

I'm kinda pissed...Damien played with a lot energy ad hustle and made some solid plays in his limited time...He played hard as hell every time he was on the floor....I don't get it...We keep Mo Evans, who was outplayed by Damien until Joe cam back and Drew gave most of the backup wing minutes to Mo....Mo is stiff and is not shooting well so far this season, nothing like last year or the year before...Why let a guy go that plays hard and defended very well like Damien? To keep Mo? There's has to be more to this...

I think we should've kept him. He can play D. Maybe he could defend the 3 (better than Mo).

Wilkins should still be on this team. The front office better have something better in mind!

Sad, but it's just the nature of the business. His contract would have been guaranteed for the whole year if he'd been on the roster Jan 10th. Everyone else was already guaranteed. I hope he comes back for next season if not sooner. I feel he played the defensive swingman sub position better than Mo has the last two years.

And i go the other way than my fellow Hawks supporters, he was very underwhelming in everything he did. Pointless and untimely fouls, his shot was poorer than i remembered. And at times i barely noticed him on the court. At least Mo can get hot from the 3 occasionally but when Damien drawed back to shoot the backboard starts crying. Just never really effective in anything to warrant any kind of a extension, I didn't expect him to come in and set the world on fire but he was very underwhelming out there to me. He'll pop his head up somewhere, Charlotte/ Milwaukee or Dallas is my top 3 guests.

He did exactly what they brought him here to do. He wasn't brought in to score. He was brought in to play good D and bring energy off the bench, and he did those things well in my opinion.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
