Basketball Reference Sponsorship rates

As you may or may not know you can sponsor pages at Basketball Reference to help them continue their fine work. I thought it was interesting to examine the going rates of different Hawks.

The big surprise to me is that Jason Collins is $30. Marvin should take it as a sign that he's underachieving that he is priced the same as Collins. I think Zaza is a bargain at $20, although that appears to be the veteran standard price. Sponsorship is only for a year so it doesn't pay to invest in young players early (unless they get PT).

I initially had links for each player, but I decided that looked like I was pushing the idea which I'm not. If you want to sponsor a player's page go to it and there is a link there.

What do you think of the ad prices for each Hawk?

The rates are reasonable. I clicked on the Horford sponsor and he just linked his twitter page. The rate to rent Lebron James' page is $685. If I was going to sponsor a page I would want to know how much traffic the page receives.
