here is a list of the ones I would want because they are either a specialist with something, fills a need, or an ex-star and/or ex-superstar with something to prove. I will start of with ex-stars...
Tayshaun Prince, T-Mac, Michael Redd, and Jason Richardson. now specialist....
Sasha(three point), Chuck Hayes( rebound tough guy), Luther Head(Scoring), JR Smith(Scoring), Andrei Kirilinko( defensive) and last fills a need are centers Nazr Mohammed, Tyson Chandler, and Samuel Dalembert. I say we get six of these guys and let our free agents go. yes even Jamal crawford. my choice would be Prince, T-Mac, Redd, Hayes,Sasha,, and Nazr Mohammed( only because I don't think Cuban would let Chandler go, he would out bid us big time.
what do you think?

Re: which free agents would you target?
Nazr Mohammed is a good guy, and can shoot well for a PF/C, Dalembert did this as well against the Lakers bigs but I think he would go to Miami or demand big money. I wonder if he is willing to sacrifice shots for a team like the Hawks.
I really like Hayes but why would he come here. That goes for everyone else they would be looking for opportunity here because they know the team is struggling. Am I right.

everyone cant go to the Lakers, Miami, and Boston. Or Chi. so we could get in the mix. to add, T-mac nor Tayshaun would not start on anyone of those teams, but they could/would here. that may attract players of their caliber.
T Mac/ Kirk/ Teague
JJ/ Redd/kirk/Sasha
Prince/Marvin/Sasha
Smoove/Chuck Hayes
Horford/ Dalembert/Zaza
even though Horford is the starting Center he would only play about 40% of his time there the other 60% would be PF. T Mac and Prince would only play about 25 minutes a night Redd about 20 minutes.
just look at out back ups. Kirk/Redd/Marvin/Chuck/Dalembert
hell that is better than our current starters

I think:
A) We are going to have a lockout, so shopping will be on hold.
B) With this ownership group, the shopping would have been at Big Lots and Aldi's anywya. Not very exciting.
C) Unless we are talking our own free agents which I'm not sure which store analogy works best, but with Joe they must have said "keep the change" making him a lot more expensive than he should have been.

our own free agents are like shopping at the thrifty store and/or goodwill

I'm all for those players as long as long as they are willing to help team chemistry.
