No thread? If I'm missing one, Mods, please delete this.
Kinda busy and won't post too much but Josh Smith just showed why we love him and why we pull out our hair: fantastic block ... and then he runs the court like a PG and throws a stupid pass.
And I_toldja_Al Horford_was_hurting.

Google Al Horford. Look at the first entry:

Great defense leading to easy baskets.
And ... was that a FASTBREAK I saw?

More minutes vs Patty Mills and the kid can be an All-Star.

I'm going to use this game as a "told you so" about Jeff Teague.

We cannot catch a break from the refs, yet our defense is taking the game.

By the way, what does Aldridge have to do to get a foul called on him? Twice, he's knocked us to the floor without a call.

Been a long time since I've seen a Zaza dunk...

Teague has to start the rest of the way. I really like Hinrich but he won't know our offense for a couple of weeks. He just can't be expected to run our offense. And Jamal was doing tonight what he ought always to do - shoot and forget about trying to play PG.

Obviously a good game for Teague and Crawford...but good coaching by Drew. It's nice to see that he finally understood that you can get by playing small ball against 75 percent of the league. I was afraid that he would start Collins with Horford being out.

It's such a rare occurrence that it doesn't even happen when he dreams.
I didn't get to see Jeff Teague's breakout in person, but now I am left wondering: will he get consistent minutes from now on or does he get a dnp-cd in the next game as Drew has been known to do?

It would be criminal to not play Teague ... but I said that after the BOS game, so what do I know?
I gotta share this. Went to the Blazers board to read their reactions. This post is precious:

Wilkins is proving to be a great pick up. Super game by Teague, he should start the remainder of the season.

I have to say my opinion is not based on watching the game, just on the box score and the comments by the press.
I do not understand what LD is trying to do here. I am happy about the win, but I do not think this is the way.
I believe line-ups changes do not go along well with professional basketball. Much less when we are already in March. Playing JJ at the three, Hinrich at the two and so on when we already have a structure of play is not understandable.
I do not get why Collins did not play, neither did Powell and Armstrong (I see they played small ball), but I dot think it is a good idea to play different peaple always thinking about the opponent.
Then one thing really makes me angry. If you start Teague you think he is capable of doing certain things and he should have been able to do this for the last several weeks. Or did he turn into a starting player overnight? Did we trade Bibby for Hinrich and a pick just to discover two weeks later that Teague can be a starter and good player in the L so we could have kept Bibby's shot and our pick?
I am sorry, but I really believe LD lacks the experience to manage a human group like this one and we are not going to get nothing but mediocre results from him. If we wait until he develops his demeanours like a coach, which could take him several years, we are condemmed to waste Al's, JJ's, Josh's and any other young player's best years while doing so.
Another thing I am tired of is just seeing how they play after one or two tough losses. They always come out with a prestigious win, especially if it is a home game, to lose that intensity is a couple of days. Let's see if this lasts a little longer this time.
