Nice start considering we have the lead, but there have been plenty of poor moments on defense.

76ers are a "smallball" team in that there interior defense is lacking. I saw Josh killing it but apparently Hawks are getting outscored in the 4th 20-6!

Hawks up in the 3rd. Drew keeps Jamal at the point when Kirk has been stroking it. Sixers come back. 19 point swing. Sixers up by 10. Hawks offense gone ice cold in the 4th.

I'm so sick of this team and this coaching.

Teague is not the answer to solving this game, but it doesn't explain why he doesn't see the court, even with Kirk playing well early.

So frustrated, happy for change, happy for key guys to go this off season.

Hawks are too soft they dont like being pushed on like most jump shooters.

Team has no post presence, Elton Brand did his job but shot below 50% so I guess Horf frustrated him...

I see Josh had 60% shooting and took 20 shots and I saw Iguodala close a game. But the other two Hawk captains were 10-27, I did not see the game , what happened?

Missed most of the game (church) so let me ask, did Teague cut himself shaving so badly that he couldn't play? I KNOW that, at the end of a back-to-back, Drew wouldn't go to a 7-man lineup for the entire game unless his bench was hurting.

Joe's hurting, Horford has an injured hammy ... surely we played our bench early in the game so we wouldn't be gassed in the 4th? Right?

We threw away good games by Smoove (I saw the stupid play at the end, don't bother telling me about it. Still, he played well) and by Hinrich. 22-6 to begin the 4th? Think we were breathing a little heavily?

Drew is clueless to me. I will never be able to understand his thinking process.

I'm sure he thinks he's coaching for his life and can only play the players he trusts. The closer he feels he is to being fired, the more he'll probably play his favorites.

Still, it's pretty dumb to burn 7 players out, especially (as I said earlier) when 2 of them are hurting.

Politics, I mean it makes no sense otherwise.

1)If Teague pans out ASG will look incompetent for trading a Draft Pick for a player who would then be Teague's backup (Hinrich).
2) Also If they stick with this lineup they can always scapegoat a lackluster Josh for a losing season and trade him. However it is becoming increasingly clear that Joe's contract was a product of Incompetence. Joe is a great piece but the Hawks have All-Star players, not a team. They need a Rondo and a Perkins.

+1. I sometimes feel I do a better job scouting for the draft and I don't get out much.

ASG are cheap on scouting and coaching, the two things that you need to not be cheap.
Good coaching makes you better, and good scouting help you stay on a high level by getting the best players you can find with end of first round picks, and players fitting your team.
Just what SAS make since eternity, but ASG don't have their eyes open enough to realize that, or it's the brain and it's even worst.

The Gearons have had a long history with the Hawks, I don't think they "don't have their eyes open enough to realize that, or it's the brain and it's even worse." I just think they let their appetites overload their rear ends - financially, that is - and cannot afford to go 1st class.
