This is a MUST win game for the Hawks IMO. We have to take advantage of having the homecourt now. We really need to win these next 2 games. Go Hawks! I will be there tonight.

Hawks board is depressing, I like reading the other teams boards come playoff time but NO ONE IS HERE. Not trying to be disrepectful or anything but how come the arena is always empty and you guys don't have much fan's on realGM? ATL is a pretty damn big city you would think they support a winning team.

I hope they don't sit Horford for another 20+ min. I think that ruined his game in the 2nd half, no rhythm
Hopefully they win tonight.

Referees:
Dick Bavetta - Hawks beat Orlando during the only game he worked of ours.
Monty McCutchen
Rodney Mott - Hawks 1-5 during this seasons games.
Leon Wood
Dick Bavetta only worked one Atlanta game this season and won against Orlando 80-74. He worked seven Orlando games and Orlando went 4-3. I never know what to expect from Bavetta.
Monty McCutchen worked four Atlanta games (2-2) and five Orlando games (4-1).
03/16/11 @MIL W 93-89 (OT) - Dwight had four fouls
02/25/11 OKC W 111-88 - Dwight had one foul
01/30/11 CLE W 103-87 - Dwight had two fouls
12/21/10 DAL L 99-105 - Dwight had two fouls
11/27/10 @WAS W 100-99 - Dwight had two fouls
I doubt Atlanta will be able to win if the one or two foul trend continues. The same can be said if the game is like game two where Dwight was called for most of his 5 fouls during the fourth.
Leon Wood worked six Atlanta games (3-3) and four Orlando games (2-2). Atlanta beat Orlando 91-81 during one of those games.

TranjSIAC, it is slow on here, but there's more disccussion on Hawkssqauk.net and over on Peachtree Hoops. But the way they've looked this year, it's not much to talk about. Only so much fussing you can do.

It's more than that. They are beating up on us while we're being called for touch fouls.

Are the Hawks actually running plays? Josh Smith feeding Al Horford in the post is the worst play you can call.

I want to throw my remote every time I see Smith standing at the 3 point line with Hedo guarding him. WTF are the Hawks doing?

Hawks would seriously be better off with Joe or Crawford just pulling up a shooting a 3 on every possession.

Before I get killed, let me defend myself by reminding some here that tonight he just stayed in a funk: dribbling slowly up court when he should throw the outlet, standing around the 3 pt. arc, forgetting where his man is...
Sometimes, it looks as if it's hard for him to focus.

Big shot by Crawford there.

Attempting more free throws during the second half helped and so did no turning the ball over. Orlando failed when they stopped going to Dwight Howard.
Jamal Crawford just gave the ownership another reason why he needs to be extended this off-season.

Pure luck....but I'll take it. The Hawks probably had less than 10 quality offensive possessions the entire 2nd half. I'm very happy they are up 2-1 and are competing though.
Smith didn't have a bad game on the statsheet but whoever is guarding him(usually Hedo)gets to just roam and play help defense on any drive while Smith is 25 feet away from the basket.
