Van Gundy says the Hawks are flopping, but he doesn't mention all the BS D. Howard and the rest of his teammates got away with in Orlando. Come on Van Gundy, respect the home court advantage fat boy.

Hawks need to win this game and put Orlando away. Van Gundy is a joke. How can he whine about Hawks flopping? That is just laughable how awful the calls were in orlando. At best it's been even here in ATL. Go Hawks!

There was a single play in the 2nd quarter in which D. Howard, while setting a screen, made so many fouls as the entire Hawks team during the whole game. None was called, of course.

Van Gundy's just trying to influence the officials and possibly even the Hawks themselves by challenging their manhood with respect to taking charges. He's still an annoying #%!!%. They have as many players trying to take charges and Hedo has been known to exaggerate contact to hilarious proportions. The other thing is against Dwight you have to ham it up to get the refs to call him for a moving screen or pushing off.
I'm worried about Zaza being out because it will require greater game management by Larry Drew. For the Magic, they just plug Quentin Richardson in for Jason Richardson and really little changes. Their per minute stats for the series are almost identical already. We can hope that JJ Redick or Gilbert Arenas get more PT and that Joe can exploit either, but that isn't likely to offset the easier day for Dwight Howard.

Collins is banged up after he fell during the start of game three. He was unable to practice yesterday and has been limited since the game.

i wish the hawks would come out and make big statements about the regs to the media. Dwight did it after game 1 and got away iwth murder in game 2. And now that Van Gundy has gone and done it, i could see the saem happening.

Drew said something about D12's illegal screens:

Good Lord@ the officiating in the 1st half.
The Hawks are also playing stupid that's nothing new. How did Josh Powell log 9 minutes and only grab 1 rebound with all the shots Orlando missed? He also had 2 fouls that led to free throws while trying to rebound. He should be on the bench for the rest of the series unless it's garbage time.

It's keeping the game close for sure.
The block on Nelson was sick.

Watching Dwight being guarded by Hilton Armstrong and Josh Powell this series has given be a visual of what Wilt's 50 ppg season must have been like. Every shot attempt vs those 2(and Thomas in game 1)seems like it ends it points for Orlando.

Wilt played 44 minutes per game similar to Howard this series

We could have used Zaza. Armstrong and Powell have 2 points and 1 rebound in 15 minutes all while Dwight has a double double in that time period.

Yeah Zaza would give us a better big body than Armstrong.

I like having that big man to guard Dwight rather than the lineup with hinrich, jamal, joe, smith, and horford.

Agreed. I'm not sure what Drew is doing. The Hawks are going to struggle to score regardless...but having a random scrub or Horford in there at center just opens the paint up for Orlando.
There's really nothing the Hawks can do right now except hope that Dwight turns it over.

Finally Collins is back in, it's about time.
