Great timing Coach, I expect Josh to repond and have a monster game.

how is this great timing, he and Horford shot relatively the same shots and were affected by Chicago's length in both games.
We can play small at times but not for the entire game and then we lose by 6 and Josh's perimeter game is to blame. Take him off the perimeter so he can score. The fundamentals of the game dictate if you cannot post up effectively against certain players you will have to rely on your jump shot and driving skills. ie your perimeter skills
put him against guys in his weight class and maybe he'll post up. As is only time he can score is if he cuts off a double team or if Hawks are lucky insofar as they can actually secure a rebound playing 2 small forwards and a big forward.

Horford shooting a midrange jumper is very different than Josh Smith shooting a midrange jumper because Horford can actually MAKE them.

It's also Drew's fault -- the motion offense he uses spaces the players out to those spots. Watch our offense when Joe or Jamal start going one-on-one: Marvelous always goes to his wing position and all of our other players find someplace out of the dribbler's way.

It is Smoove's fault that he keeps taking those stupid shots but it's Drew's fault that he's standing out there, out of the iso-player's way. Whenever the play break down, it's only natural to pass it to the open man (in this case, Smoove). We keep passing the ball to Smoove out there.

If Drew really wants Smoove to stop with the 3s, he should post him up down low. I THINK Drew wants Smoove to make a pass and then cut to the basket but I'm not sure BECAUSE NO ONE ON OUR TEAM has done that so far this season.

Horford has only made half of his shots once this post season and that was the first game (7-14). The only reason we got this far is because of offensive rebounding.

If Smith or Horford missed their was Pachulia and Horford/Smith battling underneath. Now we took out a battler and went back to our regular losing lineup.

Horford's shot is bothered by length, Smith's shot is bothered by length, Marvin at the PF airball.

No Dwight Howard lol There also is no healthy Derrick Rose or Carlos Boozer. And we are still losing convincingly.

Damien Wilkins guarded Rose more than Pachulia/Collins guarded alongside Smith and Horford.

It's 18 inches from his heart to his brain. The answer to your question is somewhere in that range.

The minutes I liked the most in the 1st game were those with Twin and Marvin on court. Collins actually distributed the ball, shot over Noah, fought for rebounds, defended and offered some intimidation.
Marvin made some good shots and Horford could play Boozer and Gibson with a phisical advantage.

Then Zaza continued with that good work. Especially, playing that good defense in those 2x2 Rose played.

I would like to see more of that tonight. More Marvin, more Teague protagonism, more Wilkins and more Horford at the 4.

One thing that surprises me is that how Wilkins was able to get a couple of offensive rebounds and a short distance basket in just a few minutes and JSmoove has so many difficulties to do son in such a long time.

Bulls plan is to pull Boozer high and take Josh Smith away from the basket. From there only Horford is "clogging" the paint.
