* Before the Hawks left for Chicago today, L.D. said he’s not sure if he will use the Twin lineup for Game 5. My guess is that he will use it but didn’t want to let the Bulls know that more than 24 hours before game time.

* Drew on Twin not getting a rebound in 12 minutes: “He brings a presence. There are guys in this league that require special attention in keeping off the glass. Noah’s activity, to me he could be considered one of those guys. Sometimes it means Twin boxed him out and he’s not coming up with the ball. His first assignment is to get him boxed off and allow someone else to come up with it.”

* L.D. on another benefit of the Twin lineup: “Asking Josh to defend Noah at times, he’s much taller and much longer. It’s a tough assignment for him. Having him go against guy like Boozer who is real physical is also tough. Another physical body has been good for us. It frees up Al and Josh up to a certain extent.”

* The Hawks have more playoffs experience than the Bulls, both overall and as a group together. Maybe that’s giving them an edge.

* Josh on his game: “I wanted to be aggressive and play with a ball of energy. I played my game, played with confidence and rode the tidal wave of the crowd.”
* J.J. on teammates talking to Josh about playing that way: “We definitely stayed on him. When he puts his mind to it and is not settling and going to the basket, he’s tough to stop. He did it a few times and saw they were not even contesting it, so he kept doing it.”
* Jamal on Smoove’s eight assists: “To be a good passer you have to be a smart player, and Josh is a smart player. People get on him but we’ve got his back. He believes in himself and we believe in him.”

* Aside from one stretch of the third quarter, the Hawks had crisp ball movement and motion. “We moved the ball really well,” L.D. said. “We made plays out of double teams. We just shared the ball. We ended up with 23 assists. We try to keep harping on it as a staff and showing them video, that when do move the ball we are more effective than playing isolation.”

* With all of the upsets in the playoffs, the Hawks are starting to talk about their chances of making a run.

* “Memphis is up 2-1 on Oklahoma City,” Josh said. “Dallas, nobody would have expected it. It’s wide open. Anybody can take it. A new champion is going to be crowned.”

* “These teams that are left, anybody can win it,” Jamal said.

Twin definitely brought a presence. He showed by example it is okay to lay a hard foul. He set a tone and although he didn't play many minutes he gave way to Zaza who stepped in and did get rebounds. Also Jason is like BASF, he may not get the rebound, but he makes it easier for the rest of the Hawks to get rebounds because he blocks out Noah. The lineup adjustment helps as well because it forces Deng to D up Josh whereas the Marvin lineup allows them to use Deng or Bogans on Joe or Marvin interchangeably.

All eyes will be on this game which in the past hasn't worked out (regular season national games), but I have faith that things have changed with this unit.

Also wanted to post that Chris Broussard picked Atlanta to win tonight on ESPN 1st and 10. Slowly they start to believe.

More and more people are starting to believe.

If Atlanta wins tonight, I can only imagine how things are going to be Thursday, so I hope we show up, and shock the world tonight.

Just going by the numbers and both teams W/L record under the refs, but I give the advantage to Chicago tonight, and not because it's a home game for them. I hope the refs call the game fair. Our players must do their part and force Chicago to make contact with them.

I love seeing Jamal Crawford trying to draw fouls, but I wish more of our players would do it, because the little things are what will help us win.

Jamal doesn't get a lot of those calls either. would really help his confidence if he did start getting them once again. I love when he makes 4 point plays.

Big game tonight. This is a best 2 out of 3, with one game at home. Get a win tonight and celebrate with the energy of the fans feeding you in the "Highlight Factory" in the game 6 closer.

Rose is going to get his calls, but it became a joke, and Horford never made contact with him near the end of the game.

I wish I could see a reply of Joe Johnson when he had three Bulls surrounding him. It looked like he was manhandled and no call was made, but I need to see a reply to be sure.

Don't anybody criticize ANYBODY on our team tonight. We won that game. We outplayed CHI.

One day, the NBA will cheat for MY team.
One day, our MVP will push the other team's PG right to the ground without a foul being called.
One day, WE'LL get touch fouls called against the other team while we beat the fool out of their players.

One day, the NBA will cheat for us.

What're the odds ESPN sees a foul that should have been called to benefit us?
Will they ask a ref to confess and repent?
Will they worry over Rose tackling Teague and THEN ADMITTING IT by pulling his hands behind his own back?
Do they even watch the games?

I'm sorry. I'd be fine with the NBA allowing CHI to hold, push, hack, hand-check with 2 hands, and set double picks in the lane that take 5-7 seconds.....

.... if only they'd let us play by the same rules.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Who will you be rooting for when the NBA cheats for your team? I ask because I know it damn sure won't be the Hawks.

I could say a few things about the pressure and the 4th quarter, but I'll stay on the positive. Great game by Teague and Zaza. Some good things from Josh and Al, not all though.

I think we win at home on Thursday and then all bets are off on game 7. Anything can happen.

I look forward Joe and Jeff working together for a full season so Joe gets more at ease without the ball in his hands. Teague breaking down the D should make life easier for everyone, but isn't quite hitting on all cylinders yet.

I really like Rose, he's a humble kid, but while watching I was really hoping someone would throw him into the stands, turn to the ref, and shout "THAT'S a ****ing foul."

It's hard to win playing 5 on 8!!! There was no way the NBA, Refs were going to let us win this game!

Not sure I can watch game 6. Even if we win, and I hate to sound so dire about it, I can't imagine the officiating being much better in game 7 @ CHI. I hope I'm wrong.

All Stern cares about are money and ratings.

One day, we'll get our turn. I just hate the fact that that's the way it goes.

Guess I'm just naive to believe that sports are meant to be played on a level field, that men of honor can still be found.
That it's just a business and I'm stupid for caring how a businessman (Stern and apparently, the owners) conducts himself.

I guess this is why NCAA basketball > NBA basketball. Despite its faults, the tourney is still about the game and not star players. And this is coming from someone that is (was?) an NBA fan since 1986.
