just keep Josh and Horford

Post#1 » by myrak433 » Tue May 17, 2011 11:10 pm

try to move Marivn. and just add some free agents. If we can move marvin I would target Prince and Tmac. if we cant move Marvin I would only target Tmac as far as small free agents. then target some big men free agents. Chuck Hayes and Nazr Mohammed or I hate to say it but Kwame Brown. these are cheap big men that I feel are better than what we currently have.

Nazr and ZaZa I think could man the center spot. with ZaZa giving rebounding and toughness. and Nazr providing some offense from the center position. chuck hayes would be ideal banger coming off the bench that can play the four or the five in rebounding and just out working everyone. I also would like to try to get Carl Landry. this would give us enough talent at the four and five to hang with the Bulls.

Teague/ Kirk
JJ/Tmac
Smoove/Prince
Horford/Landry
Nazr/Hayes
ZaZa

Does anyone think Marvin WIlliams is tradeable for a defensive center? Nazr Mohammed at best.
And Horford and Carl Landry both need the ball to be effective. Landry has a worse wingspan than Horford!

No more scorers that fail to defend. Keep "T-Mac" away from this team unless its for 1 million. Even then is he a leader from the bench? Detroit was a bad team but he chose to go there instead of a club like LAL or BOS

Can he cheer his teammates from the BENCH or does he jump off the bandwagon at first sign of trouble. Prince is going to get more money than fits under ATL and current luxury.
Landry might get paid if people want points without rebound. We need blue collar bangers.
Hayes for sure is getting $5 mil and is a liability on the boards.

Teague/ {McGrady}?? {give me a C.J. Watson type who balances if Teague cant shoot}
JJ/{Salmons}
Smith{DPoY candidate}**}/{Al Thornton}
Sanders/Gooden
Bogut {DPoY candidate}/Pachulia
**trade value: Smith becomes an older Granger or volume shooter Rudy Gay at best.

‘‘Your defense and rebounding are two things you want to be able to count on every night,’’ Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. ‘‘Some nights you’re not going to shoot better than others. But if you’re doing those other two things, you should still have a chance to win.’’
ven with Derrick Rose having an MVP season, the Bulls have relied on their defense as a fallback in tough situations. And in the playoffs, their defense has improved throughout series. The Pacers scored 99 points in Game 1 in the first round and never more than 90 after that. The Hawks scored 103 in Game 1 of the conference semifinals and averaged 82 after that.

But James and Wade are not Danny Granger-Darren Collison or Joe Johnson-Jamal Crawford. The big question is whether James and Wade can step up their own games and lift their teammates to a new level at the same time. Against the Bulls’ defense, it might be the ultimate NBA conflict.

The only certainty is that the Heat will adjust after the Game 1 debacle. Coach Eric Spoelstra figures to ‘‘go big’’ with 7-3 center Zydrunas Ilgauskas and 6-9, 235-pound Udonis Haslem to help nullify the Bulls’ 45-33 edge on the boards — including 19-6 on offensive rebounds.
^^^Big Z is too slow ala Jason Collins imo, but point stands Eastern Conference you're not outscoring anybody. Horford, Smith and Nazr Mohammed/Chuck Hayes are not better than the Miami Heat's big 3 by any stretch of the imagination.^^^
