Challenge to the JJ money haters?

make the hawks with off season moves going forward that you would like to see done. I will start it off. I am keeping JJ!!!

get a center more rebounding and more toughness. also add someone with a killer instinct to pair with Joe's steady but deadly game.

players of interest:

Ellis, Bogut, Pau Gasol, Gooden, Chuck Hayes, Prince, Redd, T-Mac, Bargs, Landry, Nazr, Tyson Chandler, Kwame Brown
players we have avaliable to acquire these players:

Josh Smith, Teague, Horford, Zaza, Marvin.

my preference:
trade Marvin for Bargs then add Hayes, Prince and one of Redd or T-mac. line up

Teauge/Kirk
JJ/Redd or Tmac
Smoove/Prince
Horford/Hayes
Bargs/Zaza
2nd preference:
trade horford and Marvin for either Bogut and Gooden or Pau and Lakers 2nd round Pick. then still add Prince and Redd or Tmac. line up

Teague/ Kirk
JJ/ Kirk
Prince/ Tmac or Redd
Smoove/ Gooden
Bogut/ Zaza
or
Teague/ kirk
JJ/ Tmac or Redd
Smoove/Prince
Hayes/ Landry
Pau/ Zaza

3rd preference: Josh smith trade for Ellis. trade teague for Jason Thompson, then Marvin for Bargs( add a pick if we have to) then pick up Prince, Tmac or Redd, and Kwame or Nazr line up

Ellis/ kirk
jj/Tmac or Redd
Prince/ wilkens
Horford/ Jason thompson
Bargs/Zaza

why is everyone talking Josh Smith for Monta Ellis? I mean why would we trade our best defensive player for Another player on offense? Good defense is hard to come by these days, and u never trade defense for offense.

why do you think Marvin is tradeable for Bargnani?
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=3j9gghe
add MIL 2nd round pick

And I would like to add that these moves for a postseason center have to be made before the lockout to communicate a lighter Smith at the 3 and Teague's need to work on his transition and pick and roll decision making

(16ppg)Teague* Hinrich (4ppg)
(16ppg)Johnson Leslie-Shumpert (4ppg)
(16ppg)Smith Kirilenko/Prince (6ppg) <amnesty*Williams>

{{10ppg}}Sanders* Gooden (6ppg)
(13ppg)Bogut Pachulia (4ppg)
.....
*improve :(

Current Roster for next year:
Teague/Hinrich
Joe Johnson/Jamal Crawford (Bird rights)
Marvin Williams/Pape Sy
Josh Smith/Magnum Rolle
Al Horford/Zaza Pachulia

Do I get to assume that anyone will actually give any sort of value for Joe Johnson?

If not:
Trade 1: S&T Jamal Crawford for Omer Asik, Ronnie Brewer, 2011 2nd
Trade 2: Marvin Williams, Zaza Pachulia, Bulls 2011 2nd for Anthony Randolph, Martell Webster
Move 3: Offer MLE to Oden

Teague/Hinrich
Joe Johnson/Ronnie Brewer
Josh Smith/Martell Webster
Al Horford/Josh Smith
Oden*/Anthony Randolph/Omer Asik

If so:
Trade 1a: Joe Johnson for Chauncey Billups, Landry Fields
Trade 1b: Joe Johnson for Danilo Gallinari, TPE
Trade 1c: Joe Johnson for Nene, TPE
Trade 1d: Joe Johnson for S&T Tyson Chandler, Jason Terry
Trade 1e: Joe Johnson for Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright

and that is why I have Jason Thompson coming to Atlanta to replace Josh's defense. not to mention trading Josh is the last thing I would want to do. JJ and Kirk or the only players I want to keep over Smoove. because JJ is our best player and we have been needing a point guard for so long I don't want to move Kirk now that we finally got one. moving Josh is my third preference. we also bring in Tayshawn Prince who is a good defensive player. as is Kirk. Kwame is a ok defensive player as well. he is just terrible on the offensive end.

but Ellis is exactly the kind of player that we need. I feel he could be just as good as Derrick Rose

I don't see why the Bulls do this, why not just sign Crawford outright. he is an UFA, they don't need to do such a trade with us.

Trade 2: Marvin Williams, Zaza Pachulia, Bulls 2011 2nd for Anthony Randolph, Martell Webster

why would minnesota do this? I mean if they did I would go for it. but if I was a minnesota fan I would be pissed at this trade.....

Move 3: Offer MLE to Oden

I like this but what is our back-up plan if Oden can't play?
Teague/Hinrich
Joe Johnson/Ronnie Brewer
Josh Smith/Martell Webster
Al Horford/Josh Smith
Oden*/Anthony Randolph/Omer Asik

like this line up though

If so:
Trade 1a: Joe Johnson for Chauncey Billups, Landry Fields

terrible

Trade 1b: Joe Johnson for Danilo Gallinari, TPE
terrible

Trade 1c: Joe Johnson for Nene, TPE
not terrible but not enough for JJ.

Trade 1d: Joe Johnson for S&T Tyson Chandler, Jason Terry
not bad, pretty good job with this one. I still like JJ more than Tyson and Terry

Trade 1e: Joe Johnson for Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright

I like this one the best, would rather have Ellis and JJ on the same team though, because Ellis would have the same problem as jj. he would see double teams all day long.... and JJ is better than Ellis.

- Bulls are over the limit, they can't sign Crawford straight up. They'd need to S&T.
- Minnesota has been acquiring #2s who have suddenly unbusted - why not try their luck with Marvin, who is still for all his flaws still better than Webster, and still young enough to improve?
- If Oden was willing to take a MLE I'd think we'd HAVE to take a chance on him.

Explain why you think my JJ trades are terrible.

Who is our go to guy?

Trade 1b: Joe Johnson for Danilo Gallinari, TPE
who is our go to guy?

Trade 1c: Joe Johnson for Nene, TPE
not bad but JJ is worth more than Nene but i wouldn't be two upset with this trade

Trade 1d: Joe Johnson for S&T Tyson Chandler, Jason Terry
i wouldn't be to mad with this trade either but we wouldn't have anyone to run our offense through

Trade 1e: Joe Johnson for Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright
like this one the best but would rather have jj and ellis on the same team

I like the initial deals. I think the Bulls would do that deal to get another scorer who could come off the bench or start next to Rose. I'm not sure if MIN would be will ing to part with Randolph considering how well he was playing at the end of the season when he got some minutes. I'd love to have him as a backup to Smoove though. And I'd take a chance on Oden. Perhaps a change would be good for him. I don't like any of the deals for JJ. I'd rather hang onto him unless we get a really great offer. The one deal that's a little interesting is the one for Nene. I'd love to see him next to Smoove and Al. But I don't see where our offense will come from. We'd be gunning for a better draft pick IMO.
