Are the Knicks our biggest threat?
I'm confident that we'll be fighting for homecourt advantage this year and was wondering who we'll be fighting with for that homecourt. I'm thinking the Knicks with Melo and Amare, now they're trying to get Jimmer in the draft, I think we're evenly matched on the account that NY plays absolutely no defense (especially if they get Jimmer) Feedback?

I will believe the trade when it actually happens. NY is always a hot bed of rumors.

I'd be more worried about the Flynn-for-Douglas rumor. Flynn has talent - just can't run a triangle because he's not a great shooter.

I don't remember having homecourt last playoffs and neither did the Knicks so I don't know why we'd be fighting them for it. Usually you try to fight the guys ahead of you.
Either way it all depends on how both teams can improve with the new CBA. As is the Knicks have poor depth, less bigs and rebounders than us, an already over the hill PG, a coach on the hotseat and two stars whose games don't compliment each other.
I'd worry more about Philly and their deep young team or Indiana with whatever they do with their massive capspace. The Knicks are just all sizzle right now.

That deal makes a lot of sense too - Douglas' D and shooting next to Rubio, Flynn's penetration skills under D'Antoni. If it didn't hit the papers before the trigger was pulled, I'd think it could actually happen.
